Big Muff - My Funny Valentine

Its a beautifull cover, very intimate and almost erotic, a deep bass and tingling rhodes with vocals that will make most men erect.

    Richard Marx.

If you like Avril Lavigne check out "the veronicas - everything I'm not". Superb song from the aussie band. It was being played on the radio over in Oz when I was there 4 weeks ago. Highly recommended.

    Tori Amos - Winter

Brilliant song. Always reminds me the time when I was 6 years old. Behing my cousins house in the UK walking through the feilds in the winter time. The snow was higher than me so I had to keep jumping into their tracks to keep up.

"I Believe in You" - Bethany Dillon. This song reminds me of a situation I found myself in back in December, but it also applies to what's going on right now. Sometimes it's just so hard to surrender the fear and just trust that God is in control; people sometimes hurt us, but God doesn't want us to give in and be bitter. He wants us to keep believing.

    NoFX-Happy guy

He's just a man getting through life the best he can
    He's a not a scientist, he programs a computer
Before that he sold cars to pay a student loan now he
Receives pity from his family - his friends say "how could he
Turn his back, on reason worshipping
A God, finding truth through fear and mind control"?

He's just a man trying to explain
How he found the word of God could make his life seem less insane
So he shares what he's read, what he understands
It makes sense to him, it makes perfect sense to him
He's never seen the world so clearly
Turned his back on free will, has he lost his mind?
He'd rather kneel down than take charge of his life
And he knows what people think, but it doesn't sway him
He can read the writings on the wall
'Cause he knows how people treat, how they treat each other
A sacrifice to benefit the all

Don't try to judge him, his theological ideas
His hopes may be false but his happiness is real
Don't try to judge him, he's just a man

Today's song is "I'm so Worried" from Monty Python's Contractual Obligations Album.

Quote: "I'm so worried about what's hapenin' today, in the middle east, you know.
And I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow.
I'm so worried about the fashions today, I don't think they're good for your feet.
And I'm so worried about the shows on TV that sometimes they want to repeat."

Sums up my state of mind recently :/
