These 4K TVs are the biggest let down ever.

They're not €4,000 at all

No way that TV is 84in

Look at the size of the telly compared to her/him?

Id say it is. Its about 4 foot top to bottom for an 84 inch screen.

If I had €27k to piss away on something so frivolous, this TV wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the list.
Just sit closer to a normal sized TV.

There is a 101inch plasma in Tallaght civic centre. Largest commercially available at the time (bout 3/4 years ago).
Cost roughly 60k, plus the wall mounted bracket cost 13k.
    Truthfully.

T.V. is the place where the pursuit
of happiness has become the pursuit of
    trivia
Where toothpaste and cars have become
    sex objects
Where imagination is sucked out of children
    by a cathode ray nipple
T.V. is the only wet nurse
    that would create a cripple

It's not the biggest TV ever to be sold in Ireland. In a previous life I was selling a 103 inch TV for 90k. Only ever sold the one:( We installed it in Charlestown centre.

and how much is the flat screen on the left?

Projector setup would look better at that kind of size anyway. For a fraction of the cost.

I like how they don't round it up to €27,000 so it looks cheaper.

    No thanks LG are crap

You obviously know absolutely nothing about the LCD and IPS monitor markets.

    Now.. back to the article.

The most important thing to take away from this is the following:
The TV has generated controversy online as the model appeared to be selling for under €12,000 in Portugal when released there earlier this year.

Only in Ireland, true rip off :o
