Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    On gedmatch.com

    "The gedmatch site is down temporarily - check back at 1:00PM EST."

    Presumably this means 6pm Irish time.

    The My Heritage phishing thing seems to be related to people who have the same email in use on Gedmatch.

    Debbie Kennett has a good summary of both issues.

    If you use the same email and password combo on Gedmatch and anywhere else, definitely change it to be on the safe side.
