Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Best pool for swimmers and joining swim club?

    Hi all,

    so as im finished college, my gym membership is over and i need to join somewhere (looking for somewhere perhaps better and cheaper than TCD Pool).. i'm wondering where is the best pool for swimmers to join/go to for personal training sessions preferably on the Northside or Dublin City Centre. I'm also thinking of joining a swim club, as it would be great to be a part of something and to train with people, so if theres any advice for going about that, that would be great! Very confident swimmer always using fast lane, just typically train alone... thanks in advance!!

    National Aquatic Centre as a pool to train in and NAC Masters as a club to join. They are based in the NAC and welcome all new joiners

    I was a member of the DePaul club on the Navan Road up to a couple of years ago. An excellent facility, great instructors and a nice ambience about the place.
