I never think about this while watching the movie, but who did leave the drapes open anyway? Presumedly not Fredo since he said he didn't know there was going to be a hit.

One of many things about that movie's convoluted plot that isn't explained or doesn't make sense. And yet it's still a great movie. Proof if there was that that plot doesn't matter as long as the audience is absorbed in the story of the characters.

That bloody scene. It's a masterclass at building an horrific moment, with a payoff that really is scary. There's no reason for it to be so scary either. There's nothing particularly so about the "scary guy out back" to be honest, but it gets me every time.

Hahaha, LotM has been my favourite movie since I was about 7 for the scenery and the soundtrack. Watched it a few weeks ago for the first time in about ten years.

"Well, we kinda faced to the North and, real sudden like, turned left."

I watch the scene in Inception where DiCaprio wakes up out of limbo for the Hans Zimmer song and the shot of them all in the airport.
