Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    hi,
    asking a query on virgin media here.
    the sub forum for virgin is closed.

    i would like to do port forwarding.
    as per some of the historical threads, i must be on ipv4
    i am on it.
    but the port forwarding feature is disabled on modem webpage.
    chat support has not been helpful.

    any help?

    It’s in the menu. Port forwarding still there. Had to do it recently for a minecraft server for my young lad. I have same virgin hub.

    strange. the option create a new rule is greyed out for me. i cant add a new ip/port

    Are you sure you're actually on V4?

    yes, i got ipv6 disabled couple of years back. i can see in the settings i have ipv4 only.
    also did a test online for ipv6. i dont have it

    in the port forwarding page on modem can see ports are already being forwarded. i just cant add a new rule.

    Mine only has port forwarding for the one I set up. Otherwise it’s blank. Must be a maximum number of ports allowed to be forwarded as rules. You are obviously not the only one in the house administrating the modem.
