Do It For Mom

So a Danish travel agency is encouraging want to be Grannies (no mention of Grandads) to pay for sunny, romantic holidays for their grown Kids in the hopes of having a grandkid 9 months later.

Seriously the ad says you taught him to walk, cycle and read but it's a bit awkward being there at this point, so here's the next best thing. It even ups the ante by saying Denmark itself is at risk.

But other than that the ad itself is just brilliantly over the top, almost Airplane! levels of situation comedy.

Jesus there's a granny at the end almost knocking herself with her magumbos bouncing all over the place!

The danish population is something like 90% of Danish descent. Just make the social welfare more generous and they will come.

Do it for mom? It looks like mom is doing it for herself, like these women -

‘There’s no stigma’: why so many Danish women are opting to become single mothers

More and more women in the country are deciding to start families using donor sperm, rather than waiting for the right man to come along

Do it for coin you mean. Everything is controled by coin, absolutely everything. There is no reality anymore.

Here in Ireland, we call her Mom. Except for:
    • Dublin where it is "Ma" for some reason.
    • Those of British descent who call theirs "Mum", while
    • Inbred people call theirs "Mam".

People have babies because (1) they want to, and (2) because they have the finances availale if they want a baby. I doubt people are ever going to take the governments concerns into accoutn when considering such a personal thing. Its a pretty useless campaign I would say
Children are your responsibiltiy for the rest of your life, they become your life, nobodys going to do that to help the economy

Soooo... here in Ireland we don't just call our mothers 'Mom' then?

Well, I'm glad you cleared that up :pac:
