Would you be bothered? For four quid.

Would you be bothered? For four quid.

A woman went on Joe Duffy liveline yesterday for €2

She'll tell you it was the principle rather than the €2 tho.

So you complain and get money back? You can do this with most things (Amazon, etc)

Not exactly a bargain alert

Cheque will cost you 25c+ to lodge with most banks as well as a trip to a lodgement ATM or branch so that has to be factored in to the effort/value sums

It's more a Try Me Free offer

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,349 ✭✭✭GhostyMcGhost

If you like it, then it’s not free

So the bargain is buy a pizza. It’s horrible but it’s grand because it’s free
(after going through a million hoops to end up with a cheque for €4)

I’ve seen borderline BA’s here before but this is definitely not one of them

Doesn’t even remotely resemble anything that could constitute a bargain

I saw a guy throw a perfectly usable half-cig in the bin. Fished it out. Got a free ciggie.

    Bargain!

Theres no 'principle' here- you'd be blatantly lying to scam €4.

Apart from having to be a bit of tw*t to do so in the first place- it's prob not even worth the time required.

I saw a lad driving behind me so I slammed on the breaks and he hit into my car- scammed the insurance company for a few G's.

    Complete bargain.

How is this any different to 'tell us in 15 words or less why product x is the best product ever...'
