Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    and to dampen it a little further
    There is no HDR of any kind.
    Its only on Android version 6 which may make some apps incompatible
    No mention of ARC
    Internal storage for Apps etc. is 4GB

    Which are applicable only when the fault was already present at the moment of sale.

    In practice those rights are useless, as after some time the onus of proof the goods were faulty at the time of the sale is on the buyer.

    OMG, it’s a long time time since I’ve seen a post displaying such ignorance.
    Any fault that develops after point of purchase is covered under your statutory rights (unless for example you dropped the TV), saying the fault has to be there at time of purchase is rubbish.
    Saying the Irish Statutory Rights are useless is beyond belief seeing as Ireland choose to kept it’s much stronger Sales of Goods Act rather than enact the applicable EU directive as existing Irish consumer rights are so strong.
