The quality of meat in my local Aldi has visibly deteriorated a lot over the last few months .

We shop on Mondays , so don't know how that relates to fresh stock

In Aldi D3, I picked up some chicken thighs in the Super 6 and they were grand... I have noticed though in the Super 6 that the 'expert' shoppers will have picked out the best looking steaks, joints of meat etc so if they haven't put fresh stock out on Monday then you are left with slim pickings. It might be an issue in your store or it might just be timing.

We don't generally buy the meat, but during term time Monday nights is the night that works for the family shop and to be honest (in any of the supermarkets), the stock normally isn't great. It seems to be the last of the weekend stuff, before they restock for the week.

It might depend on the store, but usually the busier the day, more staff is on shop floor and more rotation. Thursday to Saturday mornings I find almost everything. Anywhere near closing time, especially on Monday and Tuesday, and there are only leftovers...

I find their meat very good and well priced. I tend to pick longest date possible and choose my beast carefully ;)

Their specially selected steaks are the business. Much better than Tesco. Only fillets sometimes have funny shapes, but I don't buy them too often anyway. Rib Eyes and Striploins are great.

Pork sometimes has a bit too much fat for my liking, but priced well so don't mind cutting off the excess.

Beef cut into pieces deteriorates quickly, I usually try to use it first when bought. Never an issue with their vacuum packed meats, though.
