Is Isa leaving Leinster too? I know Sexton and BOD are leaving this year but BOD was brilliant yesterday and I thought it was fantastic to hear the supporters shouting One More Year for him. He ought to think about it! Yeah, two finals that weekend, plenty of planes coming in from France for it. Hope to make it too the Amlin Final to see Leinster win the final :) Yeah, looks like it. Wish Clermont the best of luck in a few weeks and may they win it.

Isa is retiring from rugby and going back to NZ due to "family reasons". It's a shame, he's one of Leinster's best players and he's only 30. Jonathan is moving to Racing and BOD might be retiring too.

I knew about Sexton and BOD but I never heard anything about Isa. He was truly a great player for Leinster and Ireland. Shame he has to go so soon. BOD has to stay for another year. BOD is a player nobody could forget!

Isa never played for Ireland. He has 1 cap for Fiji. Yes he is a great player and will be missed.

    Any good aviation related movies?

I've seen most of the mainstream popular ones, but there has to be few hidden gems I haven't seen.

Nice to see racism is alive and well in the USA.

I have to say for a country that gets it's ass handed to it regularly by 2nd or 3rd string selections from the 6 Nations teams they are not half cocky!

I like how there a appears to be a large contingent of 1980s Irish internationals hiding in the bushes too!

I think we need a response video where BOD steal's some obese gun waving simpleton's BigMac!

As I believe the ATR72-600s have ADS-B, we should start seeing some EI Regional flights on flightradar now. Handy for when I want to know where the people going over my house have come from...

    They should hopefully

    http://www.flightradar24.com/how-it-works
Common aircraft models that do not have an ADS-B transponder and are NOT visible on Flightradar24:

ATR 42, 72 (except most new deliveries of ATR 72-600)

I think I have seen Iberia Express 72-600's on FR24 in the past alright

Gatwick South is in a STATE at the moment. Upper level of departures is normal-ish bar a few closed shops and a massive box in the middle blocking out light, downstairs is a building site - although, as always, they finished the massive duty free that you get brought on a circuitous path through after security first...

I seriously hope the DUB T1 refurbishment doesn't ever leave it this wrecked.

Interesting A319 flight over Ireland atm:

Are all their aircraft still parked at DUB?

Might be a pre-delivery test flight for a new customer, or else they're just taking it for a spin to make sure it still works!

Finally a proper look at the A350, with engines fitted. Honestly, I'ma bit underwhelmed as to the aesthetics of the thing. I'm not sure why, I just can't put my finger on it. I think overal, it just doesn't look as imposing as a 67m long airplane should.Remember, this plane is only 3m shorter than a 744! As well, the nose looks a bit weird, although that may be due to the "sunglasses" its wearing

    fo2d1e.jpg

Here is a photoshop of what it will look with out them. I'm going to reserve judgement on the looks of the thing yet, although I think I can tell now that this is not as nice a plane aesthetically as a 777, which I think is a fantastic looking machine.

I quite like the way the A350 looks, even the sunglasses!

I think the -1000 variant will look even better. It's supposed to be around 74m long.

Here are the orders so far:

    A350-800: 92

    A350-900: 414

    A350-1000: 110

Maybe this photo give a better idea of the scale of the machine.

There are plenty more pictures of it on the facebook fan page. Will be nice to see it in EI colours soon, although its probably safe to say at this point that it will likely not be 2014 as originally planned

Well EI pushed back the deliveries about 2 years ago. 4 currently due in 2015, another 2 in 2016. However if the B757 operation goes well we may well see EI swop 2-3 A350 slots for 5-6 A321NEO's. The EI CEO previously stated that the A350 is "overspecified for the current EI route network"

I would guess that 3-4 A350, mixed with some newer A330's and A321Neo's for thinner routes could be the future of the EI longhaul fleet in 5 yrs time.

Yeah, the 900 and 1000 variants are where its at. There are question marks over the 800 variant but it has to be built surely for commonality purposes going forward. The A333 is a better choice to the A358 now it would seem but probably not that much longer. Whats more, once the A330 goes out of production, Airbus will have nothing between the A358 and the A321NEO, unless they heavily update and/or re-engine the A332 which has been used pretty effectively as a medium sized plane with a very decent range

I thought that with the increase in MTOW of the newer A333's over the last 3-4 years (and another slight increase announced recently) the A332 would not be popular. The A332 is really the smaller longer range version of the A333. CASM is always going to be better on the A333.
