Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Making up Modules for Teaching Council Requirments

    I advanced from second year of a level 7 course to third year of a level 8 course.

    The level 8 course includes all the required modules and ECT credits for economics teaching.

    However, as for my first two years I was doing a level 7 that did not include microeconomics modules that are covered in the first year of the level 8, I am not sure if I am eligible.

    I have asked the teaching council and am awaiting an answer.

    What I wanted to ask does anyone know is it possible/where I might be able to complete modules to make up the required credits so that I am eligible should the teaching council inform me that I am not with my current situation.

    Many thanks in advance for any help - really hoping I won't have to do another degree!!

    Any of the colleges would able to register for missing credits. Check with your nearest college/IT first. How many micro economic credits do you need? There’s lots of places that do business. I think the IT’s might be your best best. They tend to have more evening based courses that may allow you to get the extra credits. You won’t register for another degree just as an occasional student for x amount of credits. That way you can still work during the day if you need to.
