Pubic hair

    I’m a 19 year old lad and from what I can tell I’m a very hairy person.

    Compared to any other lad I know of, my beard grows very quick, I have very hairy feet, hairy legs chest ect.

    Now i've never had sex or anything even related to it, and this is not exactly a topic i discuss with my mates and since I cant think of any other way to find out i though id go undercover for this one..

    How is a lad supposed to keep his pubic hair? Do most lads have it totally bald? or is it shaven with a razor? or trimmed once a week with a scissors? Or should a lad not do anything at all seeing as how it might be "gay" to be cutting any body hair other than on the head. To be honest i've absolutely no idea so i wanted views from other lads on any advice or experience they can give

    And from a woman’s point of view what is preferred? Bald as a baby? Big as a forest? slightly shaven?

    I have to go to the doctor soon about something wrong in the family department so before I go I need to find out..

    i dread the day i bring someone home from a night out for them to find out i'm not as well groomed as i am supposed to be.

    And its not only around the front, what about the back? is it normal to have a 'fluffybottem' or something resembling a black forest? And is this area ever supposed to be cut or shaven

    at the minuet i sort of give a whip around with a scissors every couple of months and its a dreadful job

    so anyway id like a few other opinions from people about anything I'm worrying about or any advice pubic related

    Hi Op, I think the only sensible advice on that thread was to leave it alone unless you are planning a career as a porn star. Don't get hung up on this - if you are going to a doctor anyway just ask their opinion - I'm sure they see lots of variations and unless it is a medical oddity they will probably tell you what most guys will - just forget about it.

    Trimming some bits is only gonna make you look really wierd. Best of luck.

    Personally, I prefer slightly trimmed! That said, I'd be quite happy so long as my partner (if I had one!) was comfortable. I certainly wouldn't go asking him to do trim/shave if he didn't want to.

    I get waxed every few weeks and even after waxing not all the hair at the back is removed so I wouldn't worry about it tbh.

    I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but maybe make an appointment with a salon that does waxing and ask a beautician there? Or don't make an appointment and just go in and ask? Don't be embarrassed, they've seen it all before.

    I find pubic hairstyles vary by country. In the UK most men just leave it au naturel. In Sweden alot of men wax all the hair away. From my female perpective, pubic hair at the front is good but a hairy arse is a turn-off for me. If I was you I would just leave it and not worry about it for now. When you get a girlfriend you can ask her what she prefers. The most important thing is that you are clean and fresh there.

    It depends on how hairy the guy is. You say you're quite hairy, so I'd advise giving the man-bush a trim, so that it's neat. But if you're not sure what to do, just leave it. It's better to be hairy rather than over-groomed or have bald patches. I'm the kinda girl who prefers hairy men though, so I suppose it also depends on what kind of girl you're with. You can't go too wrong with natural, and if it bothers a girl (which it probably wont) she'll tell you.

    As for your "fluffybottem" - DO NOT shave there. Wax if you can afford it, but never shave it, I'd prefer fluffybottem any day of the week over stubblebottem! Waxing will give a far more natural effect, like you're naturally not hairy there, but shaving wont last long and will have stubbly implications.

    Wax your back, trim your forest area and don't be worrying.
    Not sure about waxing your bum. Could be very sore. Get advice from a beautician.
    Lots of guys go for waxing.
    Normally it lasts for 6 weeks.
    As long as you don't have nose hair and ear hair you will be fine.

    This x 1!. I think just a general trim once a week or so of you pubic area. but not bald! personally i find hairy men attractive. once you shower daily and use deoderant/aftershave, you shouldnt have a problem with women.dont worry:)
    Lots of guys go for waxing.
    will prob get abuse here, but i would find it camp if a man was waxing for anything other than having to due to a medical reason. I like men to be manly, and a man concerned with his hairy back and going to get it waxed would be a mega turn off. sorry just for me personally i wouldnt like it, of course some women might like it. its personal taste.
    And dont wax your bum, nothing wrong with a guy having a hairy bum! unless its effecting your self esteem. but its totally normal

    A few things to consider ...

    If your really hairy everywhere and you shave your ass and groin region it will look very odd. If that is the case best to trim. You could trim quite close in the surrounding areas but still completely shave your ballbag.

    If you want a girl to lick your balls its only fair to have it shaved. Do it with an Mach3 Razor. First couple of times it feel a bit strange but after awhile its fine.

    I trim the area and shave the ball bag and get by balls licked all the time.
