Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Dell Battery Problem - 1:3:5 error

    my Dell Latitude D600's battery just died and i think the problem is referred to as a 1 3 5 error. i cant charge it now and it seems to be no good. does anyone have any ideas as to what to do about getting a replacement?i got it in september 03' and have the 3 year complete care cover...

    thanks for any suggestions

    My D600 battery just died too, the green lights flash and the laptop won't even recognise that it's there.

    Going to try and get a new one from ILTG. Don't want to claim insurance because we're limited to 3 claims over the 3 yrs.

    such a nightmare time for the battery to go. with last exam tomorrow and all that. iltg gave me a loan battery but i have to give it back on wed. the cover only covers it for 1 year.
