    Torrential hail now. Have a slight covering and small drifts. I seem to be stuck in a fairly continuous train of extremely heavy showers for the past few hours.

    Some very strong gusts also associated with these showers.

    Quite windy here in Kerry, 7.9C from a high of 8.4C but you wouldn't think it with the wind chill.

    Jesus are we the only ones having a bad night? Ferocious wind all evening, still bad, and peaked about high tide, unfortunately (Helvick Head, Waterford). Water came swamping over the breakwater at the pier, sank a tied boat, coming westerly is my guess. I lost my regular quota of fence rails, and the dog is missing (although my guess is she's taken shelter, not been blown away). Just us?

    Awful Weather here too, terrible high winds & sudden gusts, way worse than Friday night when there was a yellow wind warning,yet no warning for tonight’s wind. Am just hoping the electric doesn’t go off.
