Don't buy one, the new one running Android TV that comes with a remote will be available in a few days and should be about that price

As a Chromecast owner, it's actually not very good at what it does compared with competitors

just buy 5-10 euro smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector less to go wrong
FYI children can't hear smoke alarm while sleeping

Isn't the research that a person's voice is better not that they can't hear them? But regardless adults can hear them and wake up the children.

The Nest alarms work well and integrate well with the other Nest products.
If you have nest thermostats, a carbon monoxide alarm will turn off the heating.
In the event of an alarm, they give a spoken alert, and they are all linked so it will speak the room and type of alarm.

They also have built in path lighting at night and when you turn off your light the alarm confirms that the alarms are OK or Not.

If you have nest cameras and recording switched off, if the alarm triggers in a room the camera starts recording.

Little off topic but just to add, top feature for me is getting notifications while I'm out if an alarm goes off. I also have a home office out the back with one if the alarm goes of their so do the ones in the house.. They're pricey but cheaper than getting a fully wired in/monitored system and you've the flexibility to move them around.
