That's why Hendo is a 6........ Ryan and Dillane at second row....... J Ryan

Front row, not second row. Every team has to have a LH, a TH and a hooker on the bench.

    Just for fun..

    1. McGrath
    2. Strauss
    3. Furlong
    4. Toner
    5. Hendo
    6. Stander
    7. SOB
    8. Heaslip
    9. Murray
    10. Sexton
    11. Fitzgerald
    12. McCloskey
    13. Payne
    14. Earls
    15. Kearney

      Subs:
    16. Cronin

    18. Moore
    19. Dillane
    20. POM
    21. Marmion
    22. Jackson
    23. Henshaw

Not much different from my first list... Stander and Kearney I think will keep their spots. Henshaw may move to the bench, I think McCloskey may push him out of the side. Payne's too good to drop imo.

With the amount of centres we have coming through (a lot of talent) will it be best to have henshaw at 15

To be honest you can't rule anyone out. Which is what makes the prognosis fun/pointless depending on your point of view!

The issue isn't where the players came from but could that team win a RWC? Or make semis? Or get out of their pool? The answer to all those questions is no.

The issue is you can and should put half of them in the Irish team with benefit

Jordan Lamour should be getting leinster senior gametime next season and if he continues to improve I can see him pushing his way into the Ireland setup. We could do with a top quality 2nd row but I went with James Ryan hoping he steps up next year as what we have now is mediocre

I think we should just pick the exact same XV as we have now.

    Why change?

Josh Van Der Flier and any 14 others you like.

    But not Jake Heenan.

I'd have Dan Leavy in ahead of JVDF but picked Jake from a biased Connacht perspective

CJ had better get some anti ageing pills fast or else he'll be 50 by the 2023 WC!

If you put a player into this thread who has yet to play for their province, you curse them. That is a fact. And I know this because I did it to players myself.

Hard luck Jordan Larmour and James Ryan, I had high hopes for you.

If Sexton is around in 2019, there's no doubt of him starting. I don't think we'll ever see him play a bench role.

Obviously a lot can change between now and then with injuries and unexpected departures but should have a good squad going over
