UK Weather Forecast HD: Monday Forecast 26/02/18 WARNING SNOW Risk of Disruptions

Cold and windy with snow showers, mainly in the east.

This Evening and Tonight: Dry, clear and cold for the majority with a widespread sharp frost. However, snow showers will move across eastern parts of the UK during the evening, turning a little heavier overnight. It will be a windy night for most too.

Monday: Mostly dry with sunny spells across the west of the UK, but snow showers further east will become heavier and gradually spread further inland. Staying very cold and breezy.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Extremely cold with strong easterly winds giving a significant wind chill. Snow showers becoming more widespread each day, with the largest snowfalls across eastern Britain. Disruption is likely for many.

UK Weather: Mini Beast from the East set to cause havoc as snow & rain predicted to batter Britain

Rain, gale force winds and potentially even more snow have been predicted to batter Britain over the next few days.

A weather front from the south west moving towards the north east is set to bring heavy rain tomorrow and Thursday while cold air from Siberia and Scandinavia is set to sweep in from Friday bringing with it snow and sleet.

The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings of heavy rain for Northern Ireland and the south west which forecasters said could lead to flooding.

Gale force winds are set to hit the west coast and high ground around Wales and the south west tomorrow but by Thursday gales are likely in most places, with Friday seeing a risk of gales in the north east and Scotland.

Forecasters said there was potential for further yellow warnings to be issued as a result of that front.

I just love the details in his forecast. Really tries to help you understand the difficulty of weather prediction. And it's more relevant for us up here in the north of Donegal!
