    Hello all

I'v been trying to put the excellent Hiren's Boot CD onto a bootable
USB stick, but I can't seem to get it to work

I've tried the unetbootin program but that does not appear to work.

Has anyone out there succeeded in getting this to work ?

    Thanks for the reply.

I followed your instructions, and have made a USB stick with
    Hiren's Boot CD on it.

This works ok when I run windows as normal and then plug in the
usb. I can start the menu and use the programs as normal.

However, when I try to boot to the usb stick instead of the hard drive,
I get the message "Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart."
and I can get no further.

    ??

What boot priority do you have set up in BIOS?

The BIOS, yes, I might be doing something wrong there all right.

I set the BIOS to boot from USB, but I've never tried this with Hiren's
    boot CD/USB stick before.

I can boot Puppy Linux on a USB to the same laptop no problem.

    It's a puzzler!
