Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Just curious if anyone has ben to the new Gay Sauna in Ballysimon Limerick, yet. Just wondering what to expect.

    I often suspect such posts as "anyone been to such and such" are threads started by the owners pretending to be a disinterested party and trying to create awareness of their own projects.

    I might be wrong, but if I owned a gay sauna, that's what I'd probably do to generate awareness.

    There is a gay sauna in Limerick, which also caters to swinger parties. I know because I applied for a job there and only because such a place would be a little more liberal concerning trans people :o

    Its unusual for swingers to just want a room. Most swingers I know prefer a venue with many different rooms and spaces. Are you sure the Limerick swingers just want a function room or rooms, as it seems unlikely. Are you just guessing or do you know for sure?

    i've been to it and was impressed... certainly beats Mykonos in Cork and much cleaner than the grotty Boilerhouse. it only opened in May so the word hasn't gotten round yet of its existence which explains why there were only a small nr of guys though some lads that were there said it can get busy later on with students.
    Nice extras not offered by other saunas such as: free tea/instant coffee/biscuits, selection of shampoos/shower gels/moisturizers. The facilities has two floors with downstairs the changing area, showers, sauna and upstairs kitchen, 3 or 4 lounge areas with porn and private rooms. Lots of free lube and condoms around the various rooms.
    The owner was sound and included in the 20e price was towel/slippers and on the way out he gives a voucher offering second visit for half price.

    It can't have been that busy if you were able to go into all the rooms and check out the supplies of condoms and lube. Why would you want to do that?

    How did u interpret "small nr of guys" as my saying it was busy? on the contrary it was quiet as i arrived early in the evening and stayed a wee while with the sole purpose of checking it out to see if it's worth going back to or not. most of these places offer the client very little.... u pay for drinks etc, crappy facilities and skimp out on condoms/sachets of lube.... here however it's customer service focussed & in my opinion the best irish sauna i've visited. before i get accused of being a shill i'm not saying it's anywhere near the top ones on the continent; but to its credit has the feel of a work in progress: big spacious attention to detail that's getting off the ground.
