    Finals 9.30 right?

Can’t believe the Germans went for a drop goal penalty when 10-5 up which they missed. Another try there and curtains. Conroy a great finisher but the tackling is a bit iffy!!

    Great win.

Yes those 2 conversions were unreal. 5-10 down I though we were sussed at the breakdown. McNulty again winning the restart and giving the platform. Just 1 more win needed...

    Come on Hong Kong now!

Hong Kong woop! Surely if we play with pace and hold possession. ..

Hong Kong beat Chile 7-5. So Ireland Hong Kong final.

    Final at 9 30 am.

Heat and humidity the biggest worry. They wilted badly against Uruguay after looking well on top. The longer final (2 x 10) will be a rest.

Good to score right before the half

Brilliant first half, Ireland gone in 14-0 and HK have barely had a sniff the entire game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Very good first half anyway. 10 minutes away from the main tournament proper.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,605 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

    21-0, try for Conroy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,261 ✭✭✭Thrashssacre

Where do yous guys reckon we rank in relation to the other World Series teams? Midtable? Slightly higher?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,462 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Lucky it wasn't a red, very dangerous

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,605 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Yellow card for O'Shea, stamping on the chest, very silly...

21-7, sin bin period over now so hopefully we can see this out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,605 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

    28-7, get in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,462 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

    That should be the game

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,605 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Fantastic display from the lads, considering where they were 3 years ago playing in Europe B, to now be a core side in the World Series is absolutely immense, and a massive achievement for not only the players but for the coaching staff and the IRFU for putting the correct structures in place.

    Outstanding delighted for them

Excellent, made it look routine. A black mark in Irish rugby corrected as regards our absence from the 7s circuit.

Massive pressure off them now in terms of the 7s series, once they're in they'll be far too good to have to worry about relegation, they should realistically aim for mid table next year and build from there.

Olympic qualification the next big goal presumably?

Superb achievement for that group of players. One hell of a journey. Good news for the Leavy family this week after that last try assist from Adam.

    Roll on 2020
