Hi All, not sure where to post this but here goes. My full licence is up for renewal in october of this year and Im wondering do I need to have a public service card in order to renew? In hearing conflicting reports of some saying I need the card and others saying I dont. I dont have a public service card at the minute and if I can renew the licence without it then happy days. Anyone had any recent experience of renewing the licence without a public service card?

The PSC card is no longer absolutely necessary, they have documented the ID requirements here, see section 2. If you do not have a PSC you are required to present documentation at NDLS centre to satisfy the following requirements:

They're still asking for them at the moment though, even though it's been said they're no longer needed.

They can ask all they like and it's clearly the form of ID they prefer but it's no longer mandatory and if you don't have a PSC then there is an alternative method of providing your identity which is outlined on their website.
