Id say it's a bag of single cloves of garlic -- not one 250g one

Much as I'd love to see the state of a half pound clove of garlic:pac:

One clove of garlic is €1.49?
Lidl usually have cute little baskets of "single clove garlic" for sale, with multiple small bulbs that aren't separated into cloves like normal garlic. The garlic in the photo is explicitly NOT "single clove" though. I don't know if this is a reduction in the price of the normal single clove garlic offered, or if they are selling something different, but the photo definitely does not match the description this time.

Off topic but I see in Metro Uk, the £10 off for £40 spent is back in the UK at least.

Nothing advertised in the current catalogue I'm afraid.

And next weekend it's a Rioja DOCA Cepa Lebrel, white wine, will be reduced from €9 to €6.

It was on a store booklet when they reopened the new Store in Tuam. Maybe it's selected stores. I can't post a pic of the booklet.

Im almost sure I had the black baileys ice cream and was ok, weird little black lumps in it

More the idea of it then the taste

  • Registered Users Posts: 859 ✭✭✭PeterDuggan

Avoid the Saint Emilion Grand Cru. Sounds good but it's muck and not worth anywhere near €11!
Lidl bought truck loads of the stuff and have been trying to offload it for a year.

There was not a huge amount of coffee in my local, I'd say it'll be well gone by midday.
I did notice their nespresso capsules down at 99c for ten if anyone has a machine for those

You should see one so, it exists. Much easier to chop and use with a stronger garlic flavour.

    Sat 16th - Sun 17th November
    Hunky Dory Cheese & Onion Crisps 6 x 25g was €2.49 now €1.24.
Rowan Hill Bakery Jumbo Cakes various Flavours 600g was €1.99 now 99c.
Alesto Brazil Nuts 200g was €2.49 now €1.24.
Bellarom Café Gold UTZ 500g was €3.99 now €1.99.
Fin Carre Noisette Milk Chocolate with Hazlenuts 100g was 95c now 47c.

Decent weekend savers this morning, got ten of the Brazil nuts, great price for them as they're one of the dearer nuts but excellent for snacking.
Also got the Coffee to try, seemed to be going fast

I dont know what to tell you. I thought it was a nice juicy bordeaux. I decanted it for an hour, I wonder if that made a difference.

It is overpriced at 15e but certainly not muck! If it was on offer at half price I would say snap it up.

I seem to recall getting it half-price a few months ago and thinking it was well worth that.
