Following on from the trivial things that annoy you, I hope we can start a thread on trivial things that make you happy.

I love pushing the button for the lift and the doors open right away.

Being able to walk straight down an escalator or up it without people standing in the way.

Being bale to sail down the driving lane and use the passing lane without lane-hoggers or slow drivers.

    A good thread on boards.ie

when the bus is there as soon as i arrive at the bus stop or train as soon as I arrive at the platform.

when the parking spot that I usually park in in the local shopping centre is free.

    What makes you happy??

My girlfriend used to say when a child cries. So I got her one. She's changed her mind since.

When I wake up in the morning and catch my girlfriend just out of the shower about to change. It's trivial nice thing I enjoy some mornings. She knows I'm awake so nothing Pervy about it.

I also love this, except it's not my girlfriend but the nursing home across the road.

Trivial things like freshly made coffee, clothes folded nicely and a freshly made bed. Others being on time.

    First taste of "new potatoes".
Some one doing you a genuine tiny favour for no reason.
    The stretch in the evenings
Passing the NCT despite not serving the car or checking anything before hand (will still service now obviously).
    Good neighbours.
A really good pint of Guinness.
Light 3betting and subsequently crushing the flop
