How much is the family option, can't find it on their website?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

There is none. People get 4 screen plan and split it between themselves. You can lock each profile with a pin so people can only access their profile.

How do you lock each profile?

How do you lock each profile?

There's an option to do it on the website not through the app

Set up an Irish Netflix account using Revolut or curve with Revolut adding a mobile number to Netflix and then move to Turkey job done

What's the story with the mobile number? I set up a new account last week. Irish account. Paid then via Brazil VPN. Didn't add a mobile number though. Got booted out last night.

Netflix went to take payment off revolut... Revolut stopped it as a suspicious transaction, I hit that it wasnt, unlocked card etc but what do I do now?they haven't taken it.. Do they retry?

    they will try again

If you log into netflix on desktop you might have an option at top to retry (I got caught ages ago by forgetting to top up revolut, couldn't do anything on mobile or in apps to fix other than change card, but desktop did let me retry on current payment).

I'm with Netflix Mexico(€10.38) at the moment is there any point trying to change to Turkey with the amount of payment issues? Has anyone successfully changed from Mexico to Turkey via revolut?

Last payment came out as €4.57 for Turkey. Cheap as chips for the 4k plan.

Would switch over if it was seamless but I don't think it is. Might set a reminder to switch towards the end of this next month

Has anyone switched to Turkey recently?

€1.52 via revolut, the audio isn't a patch on spotify though in my opinion.

I just signed up in my own right, not for the family plan. Ad-free youtube is nice but I much prefer spotify over YT music. The audio quality can vary a lot on there and it seems playlists were very repetitive. Going to join a spotify family when my free month runs out.

Setting up a Spotify family is the only way to save money there
You can start a tidal sub via Turkey and it works out around €2 a month
Tidal is about 1.10 at moment, 9.99 TL

I got a message from Revolut this morning to say "my card has been suspended to suspicious activity on my account".
Checked and it was a Netflix payment, 1st time that has ever happened.
Clicked on "yes it's okay" and card is unlocked now but Netflix will have to retry payment.
Strange that it has never happened before and payment has been the same
    since taking it out.

Which country? Is it possibly to do with the extra tax charge in Argentina?

Mexico stuck this extra tax charge on a couple of months ago but never got a reject payment before today.
