If you aren't willing to go to $600 seats, don't book flights.

I've been to 3 Vegas events and iirc twice I ended up in 600s, once I managed to get 300s.

I've never been to the new arena in Vegas so maybe it will be a bit easier as it's bigger.

If you have a Fight Club membership and are willing to go for the upper mid-range and above ticket prices, you'll have an excellent chance of getting them.

I assumed Fight Club membership would be a must for this?

"upper mid-range" is what in $$$ terms. Id be very content with $600 and I would settle for $800. If it goes higher that is when it will become painful.

Anyone with a spare Fight Club membership code, would be much appreciated.

Tickets for the MSG card vs Alvarez were upwards of $500 for the "cheap seats" if I recall. I paid around $450 for the cheap-seats for McGregor-Aldo.

The extra 7-8K seats in the T-Mobile might help.

Fight club membership is a must, there will be nothing on general sale. If your not willing to part with over $500 per ticket don't even consider going. I was at 202 and paid $375 for mine but it was empty so no problem with tickets.

I'm looking at flights and there is nothing from dublin that isn't full of numerous stop overs.

I love the place, but it's a **** to travel to.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,663 ✭✭✭JoeyJJ

There are loads of single stop over options usually with less than 2 hours

That's surprisingly cheap for UFC 202. Attendance was just over 15K with capacity around 20,000.

Got dublin-newark-vegas, Vegas-Chicago-Dublin with hour or so stopovers for 630.

About 500 for fight ticket hopefully and accommodation in Excalibur for about 300. Should get all in for 1500.

Hey. If anyone has a spare Fight Club code it would be appreciated. I have done it in the past as I bought one for the Aldo fight and gave it to someone for the Alvarez fight.

Also we have one membership between us. Can we all use the code to try and purchase. I cant recall how it works.

You get a unique code and redeem it on the Ticketmaster site. Can't be used on multiple accounts unfortunately. One code per one ticketmaster account.

Tickets on AXS site I think(but yeah)

AXS is only for certain arenas I think (such as the one last weekend in LA, O2 Arena in London).

Ticketmaster usually handle MGM / T-Mobile Arena, unless that's changed?

pool v city game with a hangover next morning, some pints for that :)

AXS is this a venue supplier with some fraction of tickets for sale or where they would have total control like ticketmaster would.

I really really hope they stack this card. From looking at the press conference the other night however, I'm worried. There doesn't seem to be many guys available. I pray for Holloway vs Ortega but I won't hold my breath

As of yesterday I'm all booked up, Vegas for 6 nights. Can't wait.

  • Anyone know what the limit for fight club presale tickets will be? 4-6? And how quick do they usually go

It depends, for some of the Vegas fights its been 4,i thought for UFC Liverpool it'd be the same but I'm pretty sure that was 8. In my experience you should be online ready to go the minute they go on sale, but in saying that, I remenber for McGregor for Brandao I decided to get my membership fairly late into the day and still got 4 tickets. However for UFC 194 I thought I could play it a bit fast and loose and keep refreshing ticketmaster until I got tickets I was happy with, and after a while I stopped getting offered anything at all. That was the most stressful hour of my life but after a while I got offered tickets again.

The website says up to 8 tickets, subject to change per event.

Lads I have some questions about going to Vegas to be there during the fight.

I've been there before and know quite well that you ain't getting into a nightclub if you're under 21.

Part of the potential group going is under 21, what kind of experience would they have there? I don't remember being id checked when roaming around casinos or casino bars aside from when ordering a drink (we could buy their drink for them). Would they be able to participate in all the craic in the casinos/casino bars?

Also, how would we go about flights and hotel? Tour America have a package for about €750 for 5 nights in Excalibur. Would I be better off booking online myself?

Excalibur ain't awesome but 750e flights and five nights' accommodation is a great deal in my view. You'll need the hotel for the odd bit of sleep and washing so you don't need anything more fancy. Right across the road from the arena too.

Your mate will have little chance of drinking or gambling in any major casino on the strip. Some of them might not let him on the casino floor but if you look anything resembling young the dealers ask for ID I find.

We won't be gambling so would probably be hanging around bar areas. I know he has 0% chance of getting anywhere near a nightclub. Just hoping I could bring him a beer to the area where were standing without security showing up asking him for ID.

Nothing is booked yet so just an enquiry.

Problem is the bars in the casinos trend to be beside gaming areas, even if it's just slots. I wouldn't be counting it to be honest.
