Women: Stop body shaming me. Stop using me for my body. Stop looking at me.

Also women: Give me money to see my body.

Others will have issues from a moral or religious point of view, will see it as seedy or perverted etc.

As long as it's safe, and no one is exploited, it should be up to the women and audience to decide if they participate or not.

I agree but wasn't that the same argument for retaining page 3 but still they removed it?

I was never a purchaser of the tabloids but some of these ladies did well and had

a few personal issues from from it also but good luck to them regardless!

But you are asking the women in these professions to shut a part of themselves down ...so that they don't care.

I mean there is enough of that in the world already ....we all shut ourselves down in our jobs. But well ....its a bigger ask when you want a woman to shut herself down to empathizing with another woman in a marriage.

I mean you are already asking these women to shut down a lot of themselves even without that.

I am not saying you are wrong logically. But people do have guilt and they do care ...because they are human they care about others. Its natural.

But on the other hand ..you kind of do have to be a robot to make money really.

    You have to be dead.

Are you claiming their empathy to the potential partner of their customers should supercede the empathy for the men themselves?

Regardless what you work at, you have to leave your personal beliefs at the door. We all have worked with people we don't like & work practises we may not agree with, but we have to abide by them to get a wage.

If Bubbles workplace was to implement a 20 questions style entrance policy, their customer base would drop to 0.

IMO the only people who have a problem with Onlyfans/stripping are insecure or jealous women. And I say that as a woman. Who is neither.

    It’s easy to generalise!

Would the onlyfans thing be illegal in Ireland due to the anti prostitution laws?

No, it’s basically a sexy, subscription based Instagram.

If it’s illegal so are half the influencers in Ireland.

I can't believe there's a market for only fans given that there's so much free porn out there and it's so easily accessible.

I wouldn't date a girl doing it, I'd not be comfortable knowing what she does but if they can make money out of it then good luck to them and their marketing skills.

You have no problem if there is someone behind the camera forcing the women to perform for men?

I recall from a recent thread you were strongly against legalisation of prostitution due to trafficking and forced prostitution.

I almost wish you were here for the AMA with the escort.
    I was.
If she’s happy with herself, and with doing what she does then all power to her.

How many of us are 9-5 drones, not particularly happy?
If you feel i am judgemental ..that's fine ....that is your judgement of me. Fair enough.

I am not saying I wish the scenario could exist where they could only have single clients didn't exist?

Is she happy though? Are we happy? no of course not ..for similar reasons to why some women doing this are not. We all shut ourselves down to what we need to do.

Is the answer to just shut off empathy for others all the time? Is the answer to feel less?

I am not hurting anyone though.
I’ve seen some high horsey judgemental crap on this website, but congratulations. You have just reset the bar for it.

No..i said if i had a daughter who was only servicing single men and was safe i would have no issue with it. That's very non judgemental.

But if i had a husband ...and he was going to an escort. I would feel very damaged and hurt by both of them. I would feel that woman was taking advantage and callously hurting me. I would feel she was cold to other humans. And i would be right. That is not to say my husband would bear the brunt of responsibility. I mean he would have gone to another prostitute if not one particular one etc. It was his choice. But its her choice too.

And if she doesn't have choice imo she is not consenting. And if the man doesn't TELL her ..he is married. She isn't consenting either. Because she hasn't consented to that situation.

To say that women in prostitution must have an 'off' switch...is hardly revolutionary is it?

I mean i couldn't do it. I would be too sensitive.

And yes lots of people are in similar positions with other jobs this is true.
She asked me / all of us for an honest opinion. I was not going to lie.

To say ..him ..i owe nothing to anyone ...its selfish. Its not my responsibility to be righteous.

If your partner had an affair with someone ..yes you would be angry with your partner ..but you would also be angry with the other person ...i think you are lying if you say otherwise.

I am not saying if a friend of mine decided to become a prostitute i would stop being her friend etc or treat her differently. But well i was asked.

Am I? why is the ownership on me? Why not on both parties. After all it takes two to tango.

But who are you to dictate what some one else does with their body? Who are you to dictate how some one thinks? Why should the person need to be emphatic to the wife? How do you know that shes not the problem.

I don't think a stripper could be considered dead inside, it a job that requires creativity and expression, which should be considered and art.

So what you see as dead inside in what seems more like an ideology is nothing short of no experience.

being dead inside at work? I dunno about you but I don't consider my self a robot. I bang out EDM while I'm working, I get my job done and go home satisfied with my self and I do boring admin stuff. But I draw the satisfaction that I'm getting my work done.

    That's even worse.

Why is it worse. If someone wants to be a stripper, what is their parent meant to do lock them up? Disown them?

Its none of my business what your adult child does for a living. If they are happy what is it for me to judge?

It's almost like we are not one homogenous hive brain and might think differently.

    Imagine that.

And imagine being an attractive girl in a world that simultaneously glorifies beauty and shames women who choose to capitalise on it.

I’ve never heard of anyone being trafficked or forced into having an onlyfans account. As far as I know, this isn’t a problem that exists in the world. If anyone was being forced into posting, obviously I would be against that. Where’s the confusion?

I don't have an issue with prostitution ..actually my grandmother was one for a while. And she did service married men. And no she was not happy.

I DO have an issue with married men becoming clients. And yes i agree it takes two to tango.

I already stated all this. I think you might want to reread my posts.

You would imagine it to be the case that only slim beautiful women can be on the likes of OnlyFans, and even though I don't access that site, I know it's not the case as in reality every woman would have her base there.

Women are making ferry loads by just posting feet pics.

You responded to my post. I was talking about prostitution or stripping.

Porn i have no issue with married men buying.

If their wives know about them seeing prostitutes or going to clubs i don't have an issue with that either so long as the women doing it are treated with respect and are happy etc.

So long as women are not objectified ....they can sell their bodies as they please :P

I think I do actually. I signed up a while back to see what it was all about. I neither subscribe to anyone nor have any subscribers though.

I’m not generally model material but I have F cup boobs and surely there’s a market for that.

Are you interested in subscribing for pics of said boobs?

The idea that it's only women on OnlyFans is hilarious. I did try to find out the % of men vs women, but they don't seem to release those figures.

I think it's overall a positive thing, I know there's lots (too much) available for free, but at least with this you know the money is going directly to the performers.

It's good for the times we're in too, better have someone doing this from their bedroom than in a club with strangers.

This is hilarious. No problem with the woman providing sex but a massive problem with the guy paying her for it.

    My God.

I dont blame women using Only Fans to generate an income. I just think its sad that people actually pay to use it.

    There's a market for everything I suppose.

If my man tits were better looking, id nearly try it myself.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,523 ✭✭✭kwestfan08

Don't think I'd have a problem with a partner having an onlyfans account. It's just pictures and videos at the end of the day, and if you can sucker people into paying for them more power to you.

Strippers are a little different as there is that in person element to it but still I enjoy strip clubs myself so maybe I'm a hypocrite idk?
