I think I ordered the last one in Dundrum for pickup between the 13th-15th after they get stock in, it also says it will be eligible at €14.29 until the 21st, nice one.

Oh no the scissors are not good quality at all. There are quite the opposite. They are cheaply made, no precise control and have a slight bend to them as is typical of budget stuff. My gf is a hairdresser and she burst out laughing when I showed her the scissors.

I thought they felt nicely weighted in my hand, and didn't notice a bend in them really, but I am very far from a hairdresser so I'll bow to your gfs experiences :D

How are people getting the Remington, I can't see it in stick anywhere.
I got mine through the EBAY store when it was under a tenner. Even with delivery it was still a bargain

Any idea what happens at the end of the year, does it stop working or does it just mean end of support then?

It cascades over a few weeks between increasingly limited functionality- and being completely deactivated.

You have 30 days to renew your subscription.
After 30 days- your data is locked out- and can only be accessed by contacting the helldesk.
90 days after the expiration of your subscription- your data is deleted and is irretrievable, even to helldesk admins.

I.e. its an online version of Microsoft office- and anything you create is in the cloud- and if it expires, you have 30 days grace before you can no longer access your data, and then a further 60 days before its irretrievably deleted.

I don't care how much this Argos bargain costs- even if it were free- I'd refuse to use it.

    .

it's a full version of office you install on your pc and is linked to an account so when the year is up the copy of office on installed will stop working after a grace period you can save all your files locally
if you want it also includes 1tb of cloud storage.

you are not forced to save anything in the cloud

it's normally €70 so its great value

This is a pretty big ship, for €6.49 it's a bargain, the figure alone is usually that price.

I had this before, for me anyway it simply meant I didn't have a reservation.

Samsung 55 inch curved tv for €579 seems really good value, I know it doesn't have HDR but the reviews are really good and its almost £900 on amazon, I would have loved the 49inch one they had at €414 but they are all gone, anyway going to take a chance on the 55inch
    what do you think??

I'm confused about how ordering works.

I ordered an out of stock item last week. The website said it would be back in stock between the 12th and the 15th. But after ordering I just got an email saying it was reserved for collection between 10th and 15th. Will I get another email when it's in stock?

They had a few early yesterday morning, I picked mine up yesterday afternoon and I am very happy with it. I would have liked to get the 49inch model they were selling those for €414 but they went very fast, fantastic value.

Reserved mine last night, had to get it in the OmniPark Argos, I'm sure it was the last one in the country. They went back up to €889 straight away.

How do you order a product which says 'online exclusive'? When i click buy or reserve it tells me it is out of stock and not available for home delivery?

Here is just one example - http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/4142627.htm

I'd imagine it's their EBAY shop.

Got it- with the Stanley wall mount- it indicated it was appropriate for the panel for a plasterboard wall- but I'm a bit dubious. Its a standard 40x40 VESA mount. Would people suggest I go with something more heavy duty? The panel comes in at around 16kg (it suggests its slightly lighter- its not).

    hi5's tv buddy :)
i have it on this http://www.currys.ie/product/logik-s105br14-tv-stand-with-bracket/322456/397.1.1
and its working fine. I know it says up to 50 inches, but the weight is way lower...
Tell me have you noticed a lot of light bleeding/uneven blackness?

    Hi Phil-

Yes- some noticeable light bleeding- which is quite disappointing for the panel.
The power supply is also damn annoying.
To be honest- the tv just comes across as 'cheap'- there are a few really annoying bits (such as the fact you have to get a separate USB dongle for it)......

I've got to make it work for us- as I don't have any budget for another panel- however, I am quite disappointed with it.

Well the USB dongle still won't make it a smart TV from what I can see, better off adding a chrome cast or roku. Power supply seemed fine but could be longer.
