Cool shots Kol. What kind of bizjet was that?

I wonder what it would be like to sleep in that bed.

It's a B727 VIP aircraft registered in Djibouti. I think I posted an exterior shot earlier in this thread.

I'm going to try and attatch some pics of the A380 I was on from London to Sydney. (Bear with me as I'm new to attaching pictures). cheers, Mike

a few more A380 pictures. Its a lovely plane to fly on - great AVOD system including live feed from the tail camera so you can watch your own take off. Another nice feature is the little bar at the very back where economy passengers can get food and snacks. Beyond that is the spiral staircase up to the upper deck.

Heres some other A380s I spotted on my travels

Well done Mike, great shots, i assume it was a non stop flight? Was it tiresome or easy going?

Thanks. Yeah it was non-stop 12 hour LHR to Singapore, and then a 1 hour refuel stop before an 8 hour non stop to Sydney.
I came back on the 747-400, and there are some big differences - the AVOD is much better on the A380 as they switch it on earlier, and the AVOD boxes are smaller on the A380 so you get more room for your legs. The Qantas crew I talked to seemed very proud of the A380 and enjoyed working it.

Their 747s on the Kangaroo route do feel a bit tired compared to the shiney A380 eh!

No idea what plane it is but this was Pristina airport 2 years ago.

    Falklands again?

    Afraid so.
Here's another couple, of an F3 being refuelled by a VC10.
They're allowing people to go up on the VC10 while it's doing in-flight refuelling training, which is pretty decent.
The F3s have now been replaced by Typhoons, I'll stick up some pictures when I can.

Sorry it's a bit crap but they're not giving permission to take photos of them in the hangars yet.
It's hard to get photos of them from the ground as they tend to scream past sort of quickly.
Hopefully I'll have some much better shots soon.

Mildenhall birds Armin? I reckon so!

No, the pink R22 is an old friend and the MH53 is on display in Cosford RAF museum.
If you've never been it's well worth popping in if you're anywhere near Birmingham or Oxford.
They've got two full hangers of fully restored planes.
One hanger is full of test prototypes including a TSR2.
The other one is full of everything from Vulcans to F4s

I've got loads more photos from there, they're not the best quality though.

Was just getting up this morning and through the haze of waking heard a helicopter banking near the house. Quick as a flash I pulled up the blinds to see the unmistakable red and white of the Coast Guard and by chance I had my camera to hand managing to fire off a few shots before they departed.

I posted this a while back but I came across it today and said I'd repost as it's probably my favourite ground shot of an F3.
