Ganly had such notions too. Will need 15K+ FP to be in with a shout.

He seems to think Brexit will be like Y2K and will not be the disaster for us that is predicted. He seems to be basing this on a feeling in his water, like most of his 'policies'.

    Great start Peter.

Im sure he can manage that.

  • Casey should focus his energies in Ireland, media were intimidated by him previously but only playing into their hands this time.

He wants to ban single use plastics, that will mean more tax for consumers if he’s successful.

I agree with his views on travellers, but unless he comes up with an alternative to single use plastics we’ll all have to pay for it.

His starting point should be to run for local election.

Halting sites all over the country begin to batten down the hatches.

The media and liberals cant accept that he is telling the truth about travellers etc. The usuql ****s will roar about racism but the man on the ground knows Casey is telling it as it is

The European Parliament is a gravy train retirement home for useless politicians.
Would prefer if Casey ran for the Dail.

are you suggesting that democratically elected MEPs cant affect real change in their home countries?

Hard to say. He is now relegated to Peter Who but it is the Harkin seat he will be after. That said his policies look less contentious than the Presidency carry-on.

Any evidence that they can as I can’t see it?

effect=cause or produce, affect=have an influence or pretend. Think it's effect you want here and mostly no they can't. EU parliament votes tend to be in blocks and on EU legislation or on the commission. Any changes usually come out of government lobbying and deal-making before agreements.

Cant see Ming getting a big vote this time around people have copped on to him,He has done absolutely nothing since he got in.

The moola, gravy train, bucks for the boys, top up the pension.
Several points but always back to the wallet

Goes to show what feck all interest people have in European elections if Ming got elected.

Wouldn't have a clue who the other MEP's are,Mairead MacGuinness maybe?

Comes across as bit of a grifter and opportunist.

He topped the poll last time out so should still have a decent base.

People have been digging to see meaningful policies and strategic understanding from him also and have yet to uncover anything.

OK I need to correct this number. It should be about 15% of the vote to be in with a shout. 15K votes is a no hoper.:o Harkin, on about 11%, was an exception with an incredible ability to hoover up votes all the way across the country.

Here is a current list with Casey included.
