Just got around to reading that now, fascinating! Seems fun except for the bike, that wouldn't be for me. Well done Kate, you're one in a million.

I have developed Exercise Induced Bronchoconstriction (EIB). It's fairly common in athletes. I've had the symptoms of it for a couple of years - shortness of breath, wheezing, decreased endurance, coughing after strenuous exercise but I've always assumed it down to poor fitness. Even when I was sprint training I couldn't understand how I was so unfit.
Symptoms became more noticeable after Itera. I was breathless on easy runs and even when doing core work. Then one Sunday in September I did a time trial on the bike. I was pushing really hard. I got up to 43kmh at times. I was really wheezy and my throat was so dry and about 5 minutes after I'd finished a short cool down, I had an asthma attack that lasted for about 40 minutes. My GP gave me a prescription for a Ventolin inhaler and told me to use it when I need it. I've been playing around with it for the last couple of weeks. Sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't. Just experimenting really to see if it makes a difference and at the moment the answer is yes. I'm trying to only use it for high intensity sessions and keep easy sessions when I don't use it, super easy. This week I think I've been using the inhaler better.
I'm also anaemic so I've been taking iron supplements for the last 10 days.
Last week was the first week of a 15 week plan I'm doing to get my fitness up to a good level. I'm going to do a couple of parkruns to see how the plan is working. I have pain in my lower back - I think from sitting at my desk so I've swopped my office chair for a medicine ball (people in work think I'm half mad anyway :D) and I'm doing lots of yoga

    Sept 30th - Oct 6th

    Tuesday:
    Run 33:36 [3] 5.84 km (5:45 / km)

Didn't use inhaler but I made sure to keep the pace slow so that my breathing was not stressed

    Yoga 40:00

    Wednesday:
Bike turbo (Gcn v02 max intervals) 45:00
    ahr:136 max:171

Used ventolin 5min before start. Breathing good and I recovered quicker than I usually do after each interval

    Run 30:35 4.83 km (6:20 / km)
    Evening run. Tired

    Thursday:
    Run intervals (5 x 400) 41:00 6.8 km (6:02 / km)

    10:44 wu (1.85k)
    5 x 400, 2min rec 95, 99, 88, 89, 92
    15:30 cd (1.95)
Used inhaler. It was windy and I found these tough. The middle one was the most comfortable but I think the wind was in my favour. Should have done these a bit slower (95 - 100sec)

    Yoga 20:00

    Saturday:
Bike turbo (Gcn torque power 40/20) 45:00
    ahr:136 max:169

    No Ventolin. Breathing controlled.

    Sunday:
    Core 10:00

    Run tempo 1:00:00 11.23 km (5:21 / km)

    25 min T (5.12k 4:53/k)
    750m hill (3:10)
    30 sec Sprint (152m)

Used inhaler a few minutes before start. Last 15 min of the tempo was hard work (4:46/k). Felt like I recovered much quicker than last week after the hard bits.

Bike turbo (Gcn muscular endurance) 1:00:00
    ahr:125 max:159

Did this about 6 hours after the run. Didn't use the inhaler again. Don't think I need to use it twice if I do double sessions. Breathing was good

Rather than the medicine ball (I've tried that in the past too), see if you can get a standing desk. They are an absolute godsend and the best thing ever (even if you didn't have back pain). Get one that you can lower and higher so you spend a portion of time sitting and a portion standing. They increase your productivity too!!

Thanks AM. I'll look into it. My predecessor had a standing desk but sadly she took it with her when she left.

I've had a good week. I think the iron is having a positive effect as I don't feel exhausted after 10 minutes of running like I used to a few weeks ago and I don't have to drag myself from my bed in the mornings. My resting heart rate was 42 on Saturday. I should check this more often but I usually forget. The last time I checked it was four weeks ago and it was 43. I only used the inhaler once this week - for the tempo run. It was still hard work but slightly faster than last week and 5 minutes longer. All the other runs were comfortable. I did some good bike sessions too :D

I think this was a good week too but by the end of it I was so tired I didn't have the energy to write about it. All the runs were easy and comfortable except for the intervals on Thursday. Thursday was also the only run where I used the inhaler. The intervals felt good. It's hard to keep them consistent because I'm doing them on the road and the first two are slightly uphill into the breeze whereas the last 4 are on the flat with the wind behind me. The effort is consistent though. The bike on Sunday was with a big group of about 200. The pace is a bit skewed because the first 20 minutes was super slow and the last two hours was eyeballs out. It's great being in a big group though cause there's always someone else going at your pace and the scenery was fab. We were so lucky as well that it was a nice, sunny day. My legs were exhausted Sunday evening.

    Oct 21st - Oct 28th

Up and down this week. The pace of my easy runs has got faster for the same effort. That's good. I forgot to take the inhaler before the tempo run on Wednesday. I was breathing hard for the 35min but you'd expect that and I was keeping it controlled. However, I was coughing a good bit after I was finished and I had slight headache that lasted all evening. Not so good.
This is week 5 of my 15 week 5k plan so it was time for a 5k test run on Saturday. I did the parkrun in Templemore and it was doomed from the start. I wouldn't have done it at all only I told my brother I'd meet him there and even though I took the inhaler 15 min beforehand my breathing was crap and I felt like crap. And then I saw my time (10 sec slower than the last parkrun that I did in June) and the crapiness was confirmed. It's frustrating and baffling. I do 7.48km on Wednesday at 4:40 pace without the inhaler and then on Saturday I can only manage 5k @ 4:33 pace  According to Jack Daniels, this means I should be doing my intervals between 100 and 107 seconds ~ about 15 seconds slower than I have been doing them. Good news considering I have 7 of them to do on Thursday
The bike on Sunday was supposed to be the last ride of the season. Not sure when the new season starts though ..... maybe next week???? The last hour was flat to the boards. All rides seem to end like this :D The heart rate is wrong because the strap slipped down and it was telling me my heart rate was in the 90's when it should have been at least 160.
I had a good run today. I went out with the intention of keeping it super slow but after 3 miles I was averaging about 8:20 pace and it was not too much effort so I kept the pace up for an hour and then slowed it right down for the last 20 min. That was without the inhaler as was the bike yesterday. Actually the only day I used the inhaler was Saturday.

    Tuesday:

    Run 41:28 7.3 km (5:41 / km

    Wednesday:

    Run 1:00:00 11.43 km (5:15 / km)
    (35 min T 7.48k @ 4:40/km)

    Friday:

    Run 39:21 7.32 km (5:23 / km)

    Saturday:

    Run (Parkrun) 22:47 5.0 km (4:33 / km) vdot: 42.7

    Sunday:

    Bike 2:11:26 60.72 km (27.7 kph)
    ahr:123 max:165

    Monday

    Run 1:20:00 15.02km (5:20/km)

    Oct 29th - Nov 3rd

    Tuesday:

    Run 40:00 5.7 km (7:01 / km)

I was tired so this was super slow. I needed to run today because I want to rest tomorrow.

    Thursday:

    Run intervals 58:12 10.07 km (5:47 / km)

    7*400 (101, 98, 96, 104, 101, 96, 92) 2min rec

Tried to do these a bit slower today. The Jack Daniels calculator recommends a time of 101sec - 107 sec for 400's based on last weeks parkrun. My mantra for these was controlled and relaxed. The fourth one was maybe a bit too relaxed and it actually felt really easy. It was the only one where I didn't look at my watch to see how far was left.

    Friday:

    Run 41:57 7.35 km (5:42 / km)

This run was in the morning before work. It was dark and I had a hi-vis vest on but I don't wear a head torch because it's not comfortable. A car was coming against me and I was blinded by the lights and went a bit too near the ditch and was attacked by a bramble. I was lucky it missed by eye but I got a nice little gash on my eyelid. I also ran from my office near St Stephens Green to Heuston station after work. I often do this especially if it's raining but today was notable because it's the first time since I started work in Dublin in February that I've done this and not been breathless. There is no logical explanation for this

    Saturday:

    Core: 20 min
I have neglected the core work for the last three weeks mainly because my back is so much better since I swopped to sitting on the fitness ball in work. My left hamstrings and hip flexors have been a bit sore this week though so I need to get the core work going again. Next week I'm going to aim to do a few minutes every day.

    Sunday:

    Run (hills) 1:12:45 13.1 km (5:33 / km

Just over 8 miles of rolling hills. I've wanted to do this for a while. I've discovered it's a good session to do in the rain because you are either going up or going down and even at a slow pace you have to work and you stay warm. My focus was on keeping my breathing relaxed especially going uphill. I felt better the further I went but I'm glad I didn't do anymore because my legs know they worked tonight.
I didn't use my inhaler at all this week. I think my breathing is improving. No bike this week. I must get my bike set up on the trainer again. I want to do at least 2 turbo sessions every week.

    Nov 4th - Nov 10th

    Week 7/15

    Monday:

Bike turbo (Gcn v02 max intervals) 50min
    ahr:139 max:164

    Core 15:00

Hamstrings were sore. The left is worse than the right. I think maybe it's more of an overuse injury than a sudden strain because I've written down that they were not perfect last week. The hilly run yesterday definitely exacerbated the problem. I probably should slow down my easy runs. My legs felt better after the bike

    Tuesday:

Core: 5 min of hamstring work. Better than nothing  Hamstrings improved but not perfect

    Wednesday:

    Run 34:27 5.25 km (6:34 / km)

    Core 5min

Right hamstring is better. Left one is still niggly. My cousin who is 2 years younger than me told me she has bowel cancer which has kind of knocked me for six. She needs to get more scans done before she knows how bad it is and what treatment is needed. The hamstring would probably heal better with rest but my head needs to run

    Thursday:

    Run tempo 33:22 6.0 km (5:34 / km)

This was accidentally too fast because it was dark so I've given it the label 'tempo' since I won't be doing any other fast runs this week

    Friday:

    Run 43:18 7.43 km (5:50 / km)

I noticed my left foot was really sore after I started running. So weird. Then I remembered I sort of stood in a pothole running yesterday and wrenched my foot. The same foot that I went over on in February and ended up out for weeks. I thought I'd just run it off but it wasn't getting better until I finally stopped and wiggled my foot around a bit. It seemed to help and I didn't notice it getting sore again for the rest of the run. Phew

    Core 5min

    Sunday:

    Run 1:06 10.7 km (6:10 / km)

Could feel tightness in my left leg in the hamstring, upper quads and hip but it didn't get any worse during or after the run.

    Core 5min

    Core 15:00

Bike turbo (Gcn v02 max intervals) 1:00:00
    ahr:119 max:168

Left hamstring still a bit tight

    Wednesday:

    Run 48:46 5.0 mi (9:45 / mi)

Hamstring not too bad. There's no soreness as such but I feel like when I run there's some resistance in my upper left leg compared to my right which is completely free

    Run 20:00 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

It was spilling rain so I ran to Heuston station. I wouldn't bother recording it but I want to monitor the volume that I'm doing

    Thursday:

    Core 5min

    Run 20:00 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

    Another station run. More rain

    Saturday:

    Run 48:11 7.7 km (6:15 / km)

    Core 10:00

I flew to Scotland yesterday to see my cousin. It's her birthday today. I got her this fab suncatcher that I saw when I was in Sligo last Saturday. The run was along the Water of Leith pathway. It was a nice day and a nice run but quite cold

    Sunday:

    Run tempo 33:33 6.26 km (5:22 / km)

Similar to yesterday except I had company so it was a bit faster and gets a tempo tag. I still have that feeling of resistance in my left hamstring

    Nov 11th - Nov 17th

    Monday:

    Core 10:00
    Run 1:11:00 12.9 km (5:30 / km) +225m 5:04 / km

I did some bodyweight exercises and some hamstring specific exercises before I went for my last run in Edinburgh. It was frosty and my trail shoes are super slippy on frosty tarmac so I waited till about half 9 to go out. It hadn't thawed at all really but I went on the trails along the Water of Leith again and it was pretty safe except for one bit of tarmac. I missed my turn across a bridge which would have brought me around in a circle so after 35 min running towards Balerno I turned and ran back. It's a gradual pull uphill on the way which you only really notice when you turn and suddenly life is so much easier!!

    Wednesday:

    Run 37:19 6.0 km (6:13 / km)

Hamstring felt a bit better. It was a dark early morning run and I picked a bad route because the road surface wasn't great and the hedges were too high so I couldn't see clearly where the potholes were.

    Friday:

    Run 43:47 7.31km (5:59 / km)

I think this was fairly straightforward

    Saturday:

    Run 1:49:30 15.09 km (7:15 / km) +488m 6:15 / km

The South Eastern Mountain Rescue hold The Long Way Round every year to raise money. It's 15km walk/run over local roads, forest tracks and open mountain side around the Comeragh mountain range near Clonmel. It's 'not a race' but just like every bike sportive I've done, it secretly is a race and everyone wants to know what time you did it in at the finish. It's lots of fun and really well organised and they always get a great turn out. They have the trees decorated with fairy lights and this year at one spot they had a carol singer. It's a really nice run to do. I think over 700 people did it this year and the majority of those were walkers. Luckily they were blessed with a nice dry evening. I had the company of my brother John, ex boardsie Dilbert and a lady we met on one of the many hills named Sandra so it was a very sociable little jaunt. John found it tough but we stayed with him on the hills and he was fine. My hamstring was complaining a little so it was just as well that I had to go easy. The last time I did it was in 2016 when I was suffering with an on going hip problem so it would be nice to do this race when I'm injury free

    Sunday:

    Core: 20 min

Both hamstrings are a little tight. Left is worse. I was just looking back and the left hamstring is the one I strained badly warming up for the National Masters T&F last year. I should really be more diligent about doing the rehab. Too lazy to go out on my bike today. Even though I had my bike all set to go, when the alarm went this morning I just rolled over and went back to sleep :o Must do better next week

    Nov 25th - Dec 1st

    Week 10/15

    Monday:

    Core 5:00

    Legs were still sore

    Tuesday:

    Run 1: 20:00 3.4 km (5:53 / km)

    Run 2: 15:00 2.4 km (6:15 / km)

    Run 3: 20:00 3.4 mi (5:53 / mi)

I did not intend to do this. Legs were better and I was going to do a 30min run before work but when my alarm went off, it was raining so I went back to sleep. Then when I got into Dublin it was still raining but instead of getting the bus like my more sensible colleague I said to myself if I run I'll get my run done for the day and I won't get too wet because I have my rain jacket. Unfortunately from the waist down I was soaked but the aforementioned colleague lent me her run gear while my clothes dried on the radiator. All good so far. Then at lunchtime I went out for some fresh air but it was freezing so I jogged 2 laps of the outside of Stephens Green. And in the evening it was raining again so I ran back to the station

    Wednesday:

Bike turbo (Gcn v02 max intervals) 1:00:00
    rhr:46

    Core 30:00

I checked my resting heart rate. It's normally around 40. 46 is high. My legs were tired. For the intervals my power was down and for the 5min sweet spot at the end I had to use an easier gear than normal and even then it was a struggle to keep my cadence around 100. My HR monitor wasn't working

    Thursday:

    Run fartlek 45:00 8.09 km (5:34 / km)

    2k w/u in 11:48
    Fartlek 2.55mile in 20min @ 7:51/mi
    2k c/d in 13:14

    Core 5:00

I went out for an easy run but my hamstrings felt good so I decided on an impromptu fartlek. Everything was good but my left hip sore was noticeably sore after last interval and in the evening. At this stage I could write a long essay on how best to treat my hip pain and the few exercises I did in the evening seemed to hit the spot

    Friday:

Just in case I decided not to run today. Resting heart rate was 44. Still a bit high. Hip was fine walking

    Saturday:

    Run 42:00 7.2 km (5:50 / km)
    rhr:39

    Core 5:00

Resting heart rate back to normal. I wanted to do more but my legs were tired and I was conscious of not pushing too hard. I must be getting old .... I'm finally getting sense

    Sunday:

    Bike 4:53:00 125.22 km (25.6 kph)

Nah I'm not getting old. I'm still crazy but let's be clear. I did not go to bed last night thinking "Oh I'm super bike fit. I think I'll do 125k on the bike tomorrow". What happened was I put my name down for the group ride on the whatsapp group. Then I rang my brother and he said he could only go out early so I agreed to meet him to do a lap of the race route (~29k) and then I'd go on and meet the club.
This morning was freezing cold and there was a really nasty breeze on the bike. I ended up doing nearly 40k with John and sadly for me he was feeling really good and kicked my ass on the bike. I forgot my inhaler and my breathing was pants but my legs were crap anyway. I had time for a quick cup of tea and a bar before I met the group.
I was still feeling pretty cooked and I was hoping nobody showed up and I could just trundle home but that didn't happen. Still I thought it'll be fine, I'll be able to sit in in the group. Unfortunately the group was an A1 rider, an A2 rider, a guy who's A4 but can drop me whenever he feels like it and a track cyclist. I have never suffered as much as I did on the bike today. I was breathless going up the smallest of hills, my legs were like WTF, what is happening here and also I forgot to eat anything :o Then when we should have been finished, the track cyclist said let's do another 30k for the craic. And instead of saying No I need to go home and lie on my bed, I agreed  Definitive proof that I am not getting any older or wiser :D

I would definitely recommend The Long Way Round. It's such a nice run. It's magical being up in the woods with all the head torches and the fairy lights and it's really well organised.
I only go out on the bike in daylight when I have company although I have lights. I prefer using the trainer to be honest.

I think I need to invest in a trainer :)

    Dec 2nd - Dec 8th

    Monday:

    Run 25:00 4.0 km (6:15 / km)

Ran into work. Can't remember why. It might have been cold or else I just felt like running

    Tuesday:

    Run 35:00 3.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Ran to and from work. Approximate time and distance. I've decided that this run commute is definitely better than getting up in the dark and running in the dark

    Wednesday:

    Run 20:00 3.5 km (5:43 / km)

    Thursday:

    Run 41:35 7.0 km (5:56 / km) with 1.5m fartlek

I did shorter intervals than last week but I felt very breathless. I haven't used my inhaler since I did the parkrun on Oct 27th but I think I need to start using it again

    Bike turbo vo2max intervals 50:00
    ahr:135 max:166

Felt better than last week but still struggled to hold the power on the last 5min interval. Funny enough I did the run in the morning and these around 4pm and my breathing was quite good for these

    Friday:

    Run 16:02 [1] 2.9 km (5:32 / km)

    Run 18:58 [1] 3.18 km (5:58 / km)

Two run commutes. Used my phone to measure.

    Saturday:

    Run 1:00:00 6.3 mi (9:31 / mi)

Running is frustrating for me. My head wants to do 2 sessions a week and a long long run but my legs and my lungs are not co-operating. My left hamstring/quad is not right. Partly my own fault - I did no core work this week

    Sunday:

    Bike 14:35 7.73 km (31.8 kph)
    ahr:140 max:167

    Bike 4:12:00 100.77 km (24.0 kph)
    ahr:128 max:158

The first bike was into town. The wind was behind my but I was pushing hard because I wanted to be well out of breath. When I stopped I took 2 puffs of the inhaler and about 10 minutes later I set off with the group. There was 5 of us out again this week but neither of the A1/A2 guys came. The first 20k was into the wind. It was really tough. Then we turned and I ate a bar (lesson learned from last week). It was hard to get it out of my pocket and get my glove back on but thankfully the pace was steady. It was nice for about 1k before it started to rain. The next 10 - 15k was wet but at least we were out of the wind. We stopped at a garage for food after about 1hr 40. We didn't stop too long because we were all wet and getting cold. The next 10k was brutal. The wind was baltic. My legs, fingers and feet were all freezing. Seamus turned off for home and I was going to turn off and take the short way home but at the last minute I decided to go back into town. Then the sun came out and I started to warm up. Got back into town and I took a notion to do another 15k by cycling home with Keith. Couldn't persuade my brother to join us. It was nice and sunny and not too windy. When I turned back however it started to rain again and I was disappointed that there wasn't more of a tailwind. I ate another bar. I wanted to do 100k so I added on another bit at the end that almost killed me. So happy to finally get home and crawl off my bike.

I might ask santa for a turbo trainer, days like today when I am home with the kids it would be perfect. :)

How do you keep the toes warm on the bike, I just learnt you can get battery heated socks so tempted :D

I ordered a pair of overshoes last week https://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-extreme-weather-neoprene-overshoe/
They haven't arrived yet but hopefully I'll have them before Sunday.
One of the guys told me to wrap my shoes in clingfilm before putting on the overshoes if it's very wet/cold. You can also wrap your feet in tinfoil before putting on shoes but you have to be careful not to restrict the blood circulation or it'll be worse than just having socks and shoes on :)

Am I missing something here, why would your toes be cold on a turbo inside a house

edit, sorry i see theyre separate discussions :)

Cling film might work, I am not sure about tinfoil though I must remember to tape up the air vents in the bottom of my shoes,I will check out the overshoes I have a pair but thermal or better ones might help stop the wind chill :)

I bought a pair of water proof socks in Aldi a couple of years ago, they are also brilliant for keeping my feet warm, no need for cling film or tin foil! I hate overshoes but do wear them when there's torrential rain..

Am chuckling here, "I wanted to do 100k" :D

    Nov 11th - Nov 17th

    Monday:

    Run 19:15 3.41 km (5:39 / km)

    Run 18:29 3.18 km (5:49 / km)

    Core 10:00

Ran too and from work. Did this everyday this week. It's a bit more awkward than walking because I have to be more organised and bring work clothes etc but it's a lot more convenient. The inside of my left knee was sore driving home from the station and all evening so I did some targeted exercises which sorted it out (touch wood, fingers crossed)

    Tuesday:

    Run 18:51 3.25 km (5:48 / km)

    Run 17:09 3.13 km (5:29 / km)

Knee was fine. Got absolutely soaked in the morning. Luckily I had my work clothes in a dry bag inside my rucksack and I sit right by a radiator so I was able to dry my wet gear as well

    Wednesday:

    Run 18:59 3.22 km (5:54 / km)

    Run 31:52 5.38 km (5:55 / km)

I was running into work, dodging traffic lights, cars, pedestrians, bikes. The usual. I was coming up to a traffic lights with 2 lollipop ladies. There was a man walking in the opposite direction. One minute I was gliding along minding my own business, the next I was testing Newton's laws of gravity. I almost managed to save myself but ultimitely I found myself faceplanting at the man's feet :o The man was super nice but one of the lollipop ladies was laughing at me when I ran past her. I was early for the train in the evening so I added on a bit extra

    Thursday:

    Run 20:26 4.13 km (4:57 / km)

    Run 19:29 3.48 km (5:36 / km)

    Friday:

    Run 24:42 4.35 km (5:41 / km)

    Run 17:52 3.42 km (5:13 / km)

    Saturday:

    Run hills 1:10:00 12.22 km (5:44 / km) +187m

3 times up the big hill and 4 times up the small hill near my house. Forgot to take my inhaler so I didn't push the effort too much.

    Sunday:

Nothing :D Too icy to go out on the bike and too lazy to use the trainer. Although I did get some exercise chasing sheep around the field. I'm happy with this week. No sessions as such but legs feel good for a change

No I think I only wear the waterproof socks when I'm trekking. Although the mountain bike shoes are bigger than the road bike shoes so I might have done :D

    Dec 16th - Dec 22nd

    Monday:

    Run 1:00:00 10.26 km (5:51 / km)

I missed my train this morning but on the plus side I got to do a longer run than expected. I don't remember much about it so I guess that's a good thing.

    Tuesday:

    Run 37:10 6.23 km (5:58 / km)

    Run 27:35 4.82 km (5:43 / km)

I added on a couple of laps of Stephens Green in the morning because I was talking to my sister on the phone

    Wednesday:

Bike turbo (Gcn v02 max intervals) 1:00:00

    15 min warm up. 6 x (2min sprint, 3 min recovery). 5 min tempo. 5 min recovery

    Core 10:00

I got a terrible pain in my right qlute after I''d done about a minute on the bike. It was getting worse so I stopped and did some core (weighted lunges, one legged deadlifts etc) and it went away and I got a good session done on the bike. Maybe it was cramp or something.

    Thursday:

My legs were unbelievably sore on Thursday and Friday after the core work yesterday.

    Friday:

    Run intervals 55:37 10.14 km (5:29 / km)

    Run 18:19 3.08 km (5:57 / km)

I stayed in Dublin because we had a work thing on Thursday night. I did 8 laps of the outside of the Green in the morning, sprinting on one side and recovering on the other 3. I felt good and it was enjoyable watching the city wake up

    Saturday:

    Run 1:15:30 13.28 km (5:41 / km)

I'm trying to build up my long run and my mileage. it's a slow process these days. Baby steps and all that

    Sunday:

    Bike turbo (Aerobic endurance) 1:00:30

    5 min warm up then 7 x 3min decreasing cadence (110 -> 50). 3 min recovery then 6 x 4 min increasing cadence (60 -> 110) followed by 1min all out. 5 min recovery. Really good session
