    Hello lads,
I asked about your experience of these lamps on a previous thread. One or two of you had just ordered them and i was wondering how you got on with them.I had one in my hand today and was surprised how small it was. The owner of the shop is a sheep owner and reckoned he could SEE his ewes at 250 yards with the naked eye.It sounds good but at 300 euro plus 50 for a 30mm scope attachment it would need to take the shot also. All comments greatly appreciated. If it saved carrying batteries would it be worth it. cheers in advance.

i'v bin looking at these and i'v spoken to people that use them. the ND5 is the one you want to shoot past 100m. its slightly bigger than the ND3 but much better for distance and can be mounted to your scope, i'v seen the ND5 for sale in paul halleron's in drangon co. tip for €250.

correct and true, but the ND5 can be mounted to a scope also, and its more powerful.

i would still luv to hear how the ND3 works out, range wise, as i have never used either and i'm only quoting from conversations i'v had with other people that have used them:D

did not realise that, otherwise i would have purchased it. Read about both on reviews and seen nothing to say that it can be scope mounted like the nd3, just that it is hand held.

it is fitted with an adjustable scope mount from deben or one of those shooting/hunting suppliers.
the lad i was speaking to about it was after buying 5 of them for his friends and that is what he did.

Not much power difference between ND3 and ND5. the big jump in power comes with the other models as seen below:

    ND3 * * * * 18mV
    ND5 * * * * 20mV
    ND3-40 * * 30mV
    ND3-50 * * 40mV

google nd3 and snipershide, theres a few threads on them!

No great reviews to be seen, one or two lads with kills at 50-100 yards.

I'm very sceptical of anything like this, it just seems too good to be true like most gimmicks!

I will be buying a lightforce when I have a few quid for a lamp!
