    I thought I'd reach out to an old hand with my query before I throw it to the public lions.

    IMO - If being a landlord is something you do supplementary to your day job and especially for multiple lettings, high maintenance properties or tenants, then a full time letting agent are well worth the outlay.

    However, if you have a long term tenant who is reasonably self sufficient, then a full time letting agent can feel like money for jam (for them).

    The decision between the two can come down to how dependable a network of tradesmen you have to rely on when the need arises.

    My question is, bar word of mouth or the internet, is there a better way to build up that network of reliable tradesmen?

    Any thoughts welcome, even if it's to post publicly

    Thanks for the contact i go see him tomorrow may re-issue that notice give another 7months just to end P4 but will run it by your man.
    i have 3 P4 due to end at the start of the new year my plan is not to advertise on daft anymore revenue are watching that and Airbnb using various social media sites i will advertise discretely companies with workers or to study needing accommodation.
    I have already let to 1 company its working well especially with a DD from a bank in Dubia to my Bangkok bank where i reside if anymore come that i can't handle and with several more units coming up i would be happy to pass your way, Thanks again.
