30/04/2021 appros 11:18 logged in OK then no response from webpage went pale with the circle in the middle of the screen. 

Tried to log back in and logon page just times out.

Edit> Working again now about 5 minutes later but clunky (on fiber connection) Credit Card balance is all over the place. Balance is about €400 higher than the pdf statement with no transactions listed :rolleyes:

I really didn't want the hassle of sorting that sort of thing out today.

Edit again> Finally its all working, the page showing my CC balance wasn't showing the Transactions or Summary tabs and just said no Transactions across the page the first two times I logged in.

Honestly it doesn't seem to be a very reliable system.

Thanks its working again now but something was up because I couldn't get a balance from a BoI atm this morning when I paid money in and then when I came home about an hour later there were issues with my banking 365online balance. As I said after logging on for the 3rd time all the information I needed showed up. I use the PSK and another issue I have had is having to cancel a login a couple of times because the system tried to log me in as if I had a mobile phone.

Not working for me, at the moment (Samsung A50). "Error communicating with the server" despite my internet working fine on any other app I tried.

Also can't log in with my computer because i need to very my login using my phone. :rolleyes:

I can’t log in via the app on my phone either, page opens buts it’s all greyed out.

It's still off!!!

Why can Bank of Ireland not re-instate the old original 3 stage verification 365 sign in on their website?
I believe it to be more secure than the app.

At least have it available for times when this nonsense happens..

App is just showing a white screen, so yes its down, I am sure they will deny this, everything is rosy.

I thought I might have been a bit hasty when I posted when it wasn't working this morning but at least getting a date and time down gives an indication of when it started to go wrong. I'd say the problems started earlier though as even a BoI atm couldn't give me a balance this morning at about 9:30.

OK, as I said to another supplier today, enough is enough.

My Mobile banking app is saying it can't communicate with the server because there's no internet connection. WRONG, completely WRONG, as I am connected to the internet,  and I have just checked again, both my Wifi AND mobile network service are alive and working on my mobile, but clearly from the number of posts in this thread, the 130 specialist IT people that BOI are planning to recruit are desperately needed yesterday, good luck on finding people prepared to get involved with the absolute shambles that is your on line system at the moment. Between a nightmare combination of real time and batch processing that goes back to the days of IBM mainframe systems, with all the attendant problems that causes, and programmers who can make code sort of work, but don't have a clue how to write a user friendly interface that doesn't require 10 minutes of nightmare trying to log in, any specialist getting involved with that swamp would be needed a mightly big financial incentive to get involved with it.

Even more damning is that because the mobile won't work, it's no longer possible to use my laptop, despite the fact that the internet connection to it is perfect, that's what's sending this message.

Probably has a lot to do with the fact that it's a bank holiday weekend, so most of the specialists baled out early, and getting someone back at this time on a Friday is going to be very hard to do, so that effectively means it will probably be Tuesday before things get sorted out again.

I spent close on 40 years working on banking and finance related on line systems, to say I am underwhelmed by the recent performance of BOI would be putting it mildly, the big problem being that there's very little real alternative any more.

And just to be clear, this is not aimed at the people providing support on Boards, you've got one of the most thankless tasks going, as you're at the sharp end of all the problems, and don't have the power to give managers at higher levels the massive kick that they deserve for rolling out software that was very much not ready for real time live processing.
