electric meter stuck on night rate

if your esb meter is stuck on night rate is it your responsibility to get it fixed. a friend of mines last bill was for night rate units only so the bill was less than it should be. his meter does not seem to be changing rate, the day units are not increasing.

In this scenario, the account-holder just needs to request a time-switch fault repair by telephoning Electric Ireland Customer Service on 1850 372 372.

Customer Service will send a service order to ESB Networks, who will arrange an appointment with the customer as soon as possible.

There is no charge for a call out unless it transpires there is no fault with the time-clock. Our colleagues will advise of this when the account holder contacts them to arrange the appointment.
