Own Business - am I my own employee?

I would also say from my experience that Revenue are very reasonable when dealing with a self-employed individual who they believe are doing the best they can. Own Business - am I my own employee?

Why would a retailer charge 50cent on contactless transactions?

The new contactless system is marketed for small transactions such as cups of coffee etc. It is said that it's cheaper and easier than cash for both the customer and the retailer. Yet the SPAR shop in O'Connell street, Dublin want to charge 50cent per contactless transaction. Is this allowed?
