I’m an optimistic Cork supporter as anyone but can’t see any basis for prediction. Yes we have improved this year but are miles off competing to win an all Ireland

Mayo can hardly pass the ball to each other. Whether it’s tiredness or local of basic skills i dont know. Need to get Carr off anyway as everything he does seems to go wrong

Dublin GAA Discussion Thread - Capital Punishment

Definitely agree that Whelan didn’t have close to the quality of team mates that are there now. It was a different game back then and less structured. Kick outs were all long and up for grabs. He’d have made a great impact sub though with his pace!

Dublin GAA Discussion Thread - Capital Punishment

Whelan was great on the ball but could go missing sometimes. I don’t think Dublin have been on top of their game this year like other years. However I can’t see who will take advantage but donegal would be interesting. We are paying the price for playing at lower levels but we do have a lot of yo

Dublin GAA Discussion Thread - Capital Punishment

I think we exposed a few weaknesses in the Dublin defence but just didn’t have the legs or the manpower to last the 80 odd minutes played. Standout players for you are jack and Fenton. Just couldn’t lay a glove on them when ran at us. I Callaghan up front too is lethal for setting up and getting go

No future in most religions I would think. Definitely no future in the 21st century for most of unionist beliefs and rights to its citizens

The glorious 12th

I think it’s very relevant to the twelth and the orange order connections to loyalist spokespeople. All a bit sinister on a day you like to celebrate. What difference does it make what part of this island I am from? Whether you like it or not the south is intrinsically linked to northern affairs
