Does anyone have any idea where abouts on the car I would find the yaw rate sensor on a corolla verso. I've had the engine light come on in the car and when I got it checked out, it was the yaw rate sensor. The car is an automatic and when the light came on I couldn't drive the car. I had to get it towed to the garage. The garage managed to reset the sensor and all was fine, but it has come back a few times in the last few days but luckily turning the engine off and on clears the engine light. I'm waiting for the mechanic to come back with a price to replace it, but I'm expecting it to be on the expensive side. I've also done a few searches on the web to see if I can get an idea of hoe much the sensor cost, but I cant find anything?

Hi,

My wife brought her 2006 Toyota Corolla Verso to the dealer on Thursday as there was a vibration in the clutch. The dealer said that it needed a new clutch. It was a bit of a surprise as its just been serviced a couple of months ago. To make a long story short, within a couple of days it seemed to be worse. Over the weekend there was loud noise from the engine. The engine is cutting out now when you slow down and clutch at the lights etc so it doenst seem safe to drive.

When we brought the car back to the dealer, they said that it needs a new crank shaft (about 2,000). The car has 70,000KM on the clock. Toyota Ireland has said that they will do nothing, as its out of warranty. This is despite the fact that it’s been regularly serviced at the main dealer and has only 70K on the clock. I asked Toyota Ireland if they thought it was acceptable, they wouldnt comment. Just kept saying its out warranty!!

Anyone have any advice / suggestions on this?

Which would you go for?
5008 SX vs citroen c4 grand picasso vtr+ vs toyota verso Luna
2 kids but carry extra sometimes for school runs etc.
thinking of going with the verso as its not so much of a bus as the others but worried about the smaller boot capacity.
also people say toyota are very reliable and french not so?
have a 2004 scenic and had lots of trouble with it so has put me off renault.
getting it on scrappage against a 98 car i have.
the toyota is the most expensive of the three but swaying towards it right now.
thanks all.
