Here we are again. Beautiful plants in May, load of buds. Then awful weather for the last 2-3 weeks has given them a beating. I've tried to put a ring of short bamboos around and tied the green rubber-covered wire around, but it slips down and it's probably too late for this year.

I was at Bloom and saw a couple of exhibitors were selling hoops that you push into soil early in Mar-Apr as the new growth starts to develop. Can't find similar anywhere here in the West of Ireland. Not sure what those things are called either.
