Hi,

Having a problem with my PS3 slim after travelling on a few planes (maybe this is a reason)

When turning it on it flashes green for a second then completely shuts down, when pressing the eject button it makes 3 quck beeps and nothing happens.

I've googled and youtubed the problem but nobody has answers.
I read people saying its the motherboard, power supply, and a few other things but have no idea what their on about tbh.

Anybody any ideas, similar probelm, fixes?

Thanks in advance

Since the PS3 super slim is coming in I thought some shops might be clearing out their old PS3 slims by selling them cheap. Does anyone know anywhere doing this? Preferably in Dublin btw.

Hi, having recently become a victim of the Blu Ray of Death i was wondering if it would be worth my while buying my replacement PS3 in the US, i'm heading there on Monday and worked out that i would save roughly €100 when buying over there compared to here (a 120gb slim).

My previous PS3 (a 60 gb US model) was perfect and broke my heart when it broke last week, but it lasted nearly 3 years (it will still read my hard drive so it is still useful!!). I'm torn between buying over there for the bargain price or spending the extra €100 for the comfort of a warranty which is effective in case of any inconvienience, what do ye think?? Thanks for your help in advance!

Only €190 for a brand new slim, shipped in 24 hours.

And as they're all region free, it's a great deal considering the money saved can go towards a game or 3
