Can I get my learner permit before I turn 17?

I'll turn 17 late next month and I want to know if I can apply for it now and have it sent out before my birthday. Basically it would be invalid but on the morning of my birthday I can use it for learner driving if that makes sense. I don't want to wait 3 weeks after my birthday to have it sent out so any help is appreciated, thanks.

Motorbike licence expired after 5 months

Hey,

I had a car learner permit since 21.1.20. I recently got my Bike Lerner Permit 03.07.21 which was added to my car licence.

I went onto NDLS to renew my car licence a moment ago, but noticed my bike licence is also expired 20.1.22. This means my provisional bike licence was only valid for six months?! Am I unable to drive my bike now? It should be valid till July 2023!

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello I was caught by garda when checked tax and insurance. and they told me I could not drive alone. The Garda man took my driving license he wrote the registration number. Give back my driving licence and said that my insurance is invalid. He told me I must go to the garda station with insurance and a person with a full driving license. What's next? got summons to court? and and penalty?? I have to be afraid of?
