Hi all, we have a mixer tap that has started dripping fairly heavily. The hot tap seems to be the culprit. For now, I've an elastic band on the hot side to stop any dripping and waste. Are these taps fixable or am I better off replacing the whole unit ?

Fyi it's in the style of a Franke mixer.

Thanks 👍

Hi - the hot water tap in my apartment kitchen is giving trouble. It was running slow for a bit and now when it's turned on it's difficult to turn off, so I've stopped using it. I don't know if this means it needs a new part like a washer or if the whole thing need to be replaced.

I'm not sure what the type is but it's a standard enough one with hot and cold knobs.. the attached pic will hopefully give an idea.

Does anyone know what the problem might be, and if it's expensive to get a plumber to fix / replace?
