I'm looking for somewhere as central as possible to pick up a few tins of Dulux paint (and a few painting odds and ends) but I can't think of a single woodies, homebase etc in the city center - they all seem to be on the outskirts of Dublin and I don't have time to go out that far, and I'm not sure if smaller hardware/DIY places would (A) Be open, and (B) have a wide enough selection of paint that they'd definitely have it.

Anyone know of somewhere that stocks Dulux Warm White paint (Yeah it needs to be Dulux specifically... don't ask) that would be open on a Saturday or Sunday

Thanks a lot!

In Dublin...

I require Dulux Easycare paint in tins (specific colour required).

Where is the cheapest (B&M/offline) place to source these? I have to get 80 litres worth so they might do a deal as well!

cheers

In Dublin...

I need to get around 80 litres of interior paint which, after extensive testing of Fleetwood/Crown/Dulux colours, has to be specific Dulux Easycare paint (couldn't find required colour in other brands).

It has to be in the tins as well, rather than mixed on site, to get the specific colour as Dulux don't release the colour codes for their tinned paints... so this is unfortunately the most expensive route.

Where is the cheapest place to source these tins? Would prefer B&M(offline) as I need to pick up tomorrow.

Ta!

I have about 7 litres of Dulux Weathershield in Cobblelock left over from painting the outside of my house. Can I use this to paint the inside too? It works out much cheaper per litre and as I like the colour and can live with it for a long time, it makes sense to continue the neutral theme and just accent with colours for fun...any reason why I can't use Weathershield inside? Obviously ventilation whilst the paint is wet, but can't see any reason why it would be a problem when it's dry. Does anyone know for sure? The container doesn't have any contraindications or warnings, and my gut instinct says that if there were a problem then the manufacturer would have thought of this and warned against it...

I am looking for a colour to paint all the walls downstairs in my house. I want a modern contemporary look. I have a dark brown sofa (New Elite from Cost Plus Sofas), cream rugs and light wooden floors. Maybe a cream or soft hessian? I would really like to get a cream or white mantle for around the fire . . . Doesnt have to be dulux, but I know most of their colours
