Just setting up this thread to exchange BuyMie discount codes like the €10 off your next shop etc.

I currently have an account with them so already used the €10 credit via signing up with a friends referral code.

But checking their Instagram page now, they recently had a €5 off with code “21SOCBLACKFRIDAY” which unfortunately expired on Friday 26th November. (I wanted to get my shopping for tomorrow morning but got there too late ⏰).

Hi All,

I would like to know your thought about this business idea.

The idea is about complementary currency, which will decrease the price of goods and services and increase the number of customers for each retailer that will adopt this new system. The coupon represents a discount which goes hand in hand with euro and can be reused indefinitely. It is distributed free of charge for people who enter in the system and it is an income supplement for those who use it. Those who accepts it reuses it in turn in other activities of the circuit by circulating and maintaining wealth in the territory.
It has a 1: 1 ratio with the euro (1 WAC = 1 Euro), it is not convertible and is used with the euro.

Example: doctor's parcel accepting 20% of WAC:
Total 100 € = 80 € + 20 WAC . The doctor uses it to pay for his accountant, cleaning company or going to the restaurant

Count on the restaurant that accepts 25% of WAC:
Total 50 € = 37,50 € + 12,50 WAC. The restaurateur can buy raw materials from a local producer and so on.

What's its function?
The WAC have the dual function of increasing the purchasing power of families and to convey the wealth to the activity of the circuit, increasing its turnover.

A large portion of money spent in food and clothing by families are spent in the large-scale distribution (i.e. Tesco, Supervalu, Lidl). Unfortunately, these colossal companies do not reinvest in the territory, leaving only locally salaries of employees, but not the profits, and thus creating a real wealth bleeding from Ireland to foreign countries.
Using the WAC Instead, it conveys spending € on activities and local productions that increase their wealth at any time the good pass from hand to hand.

The benefits for traders would be the following:

- Increase sales and customers
- Financing the business activity by reducing the cost of goods and services bought
- Increase customer’s loyalty
- VAT is not applied to the coupons redeemed or accepted: the more you sell, the lower is the amount of VAT taxes you will pay!
- Set different prices by changing the percentage of WAC (i.e. based on the amount spent by customers/business partners)
- Foster business activities in county Clare and county Limerick

Anybody who use Benecol Butter? Keep an eye out for packets that have a €0.75 coupon. The coupon is on the foil under the lid. Dunnes Stores is selling the butter for €4.00 at the moment, so it would be €3.25 on your next purchase after you use the coupon.

I got a coupon from these guys. If you enter the phrase Thankyou in the Code section at checkout, you get a tenner off any products. They seem to give a good old selection of stuff like gym equipment, pet products etc. I got myself a Polytunnel....time to get myself some wellies now Anyway, enjoy!

Groupon/boomclick Snow socks never arrived

I got my coupon, boomclick charged me for the post and still nothing has arrived.
Received an email on the 1st Dec from Groupon saying there was a delay and "[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]We have important information for those of you yet to redeem your Groupons for this deal.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of orders, Boomclick is currently running slightly behind schedule on deliveries. Orders will be shipped on a first-redeemed-first-served basis and Boomclick hope to have shipped all orders by 16th December 2011. In the meantime they'd like to apologise for the delay and thank you for your patience.

This was my first time dealing with Groupon and I'm pretty certain it will be the last.

Coupons on leaflet, available instore, must be used.

Coupon 1 -Valid from 17 Dec to 20 Dec
Coupon 2 -Valid from 21 Dec to 27 Dec

Lidl Rathmines opens on 17 Dec.

Dunnes, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl are now all in Rathmines now.
Superquinn is down the road in Ranelagh and is opening in Rathgar next year.
