Hi,
I'm confused about the explanation of climb rating on Map My Ride. See here http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/climb_information . It says for a climb to be categorised it must have an average gradient of greater than 3%. However, when I create a route or record one I've ridden there are lots of climbs which are categorised even though their average gradient is recorded on MMR as less than 3% - see the route at this link as an example http://www.mapmyride.com/ie/swords-l/103-83-kilometer-bike-ride-on-feb-4-2012-route-67552364 This route has climbs which have been categorised but the gradient is less than 3% for all of them.

Am I missing something here something here?

Regards

Doug
