Yes the 1 litre ones they won't sell the 5 litre ones without relevant paperwork

They actually do. Got a 5L of RoundUp in local hardware. €70 but no questions asked!

Im sure this has been asked here before and the answer is probably the same, but how long after spraying a field of silage with MCPA should I leave it before mowing etc?

    I think it's about 4 weeks.

Doesn't it just go to show with all the bureaucracy there can still be some loose ends.

Contractor with all relevant sprayer courses done got in to spray. Farmer not obliged to have course done in this scenario. May have got contractor to supply spray. Farmer may not even know name of herbicide used and therefore stock withdrawal times. Lets livestock in too soon or cuts silage too early.

If a farmer doesn't have the gumption to get this basic info then they have no business having animals."Bureaucracy" is an easy excuse for no common sense.

    pcs.agriculture.gov.ie

is the only official reference to use. You can download all product labels to your phone. You can't go by what a supplier puts up. It could be wrong.

Click on 'plant protection products registers.'

    Then 'plant protection products labels.'

This will give a comprehensive list of labels same as what manufacturer puts on their containers. Type the name of product you want into search engine top right.

Hmm I suppose. What's people's opinions? Could just skip a month and start again, would there be a bigger uptake?

Only allowed on grassland being used to harvest grass seed from, not as animal feed.
    It's a pity, cause I think it's a lot better than MCPA.

Get rid of the empty canisters at once.
    Deny everything.
