Is it true if Liverpool win the Europa league that they will automatically get in to the champions league. meaning that whoever is 4th in the premier league loses their spot in the champions league iykwim:confused:

A lad asked oh to drive their rigid lorry today, oh said no, no tax, no test , no tacho-apparently tacho's are only for truckers and it doesnt apply to them- Would oh get points on his licence if stopped in such a vehicle?

    Yea right call.
No test would be the big thing if anything happened. Probably same points as no nct I'd expect.

You'd imagine that they're breaking that many laws already that the might as well drive it themselves

I know the knackery lorries don't require tachographs, I think he said they are classed as "local delivery" or some such. One local lad is doing 12 to 14 hour days, so if tacho's were introduced the company would need a second truck and drives.

The owner normally drives it himself, they really dont know what they are at lorry wise. I am sure any insuarance they have will be invalid if there was a crash as there is no test. Oh brought the load on his lorry as everything is legal

The load was going to Tullamore and portlaoise and Dublin and its goods for sale that they are transporting, they deffo need a tacho.

Was doing the BPS online last night...

And I noticed the num. HA x entitlement value is about 30% less than what expected. (EDIT : 30% less)

I assume this is due to the greening, which is about 30% - is this right?

I didn't submit it just in case... wanted to see where the 30% was gone...

I think greening makes up 44% of the BPS

If Man city had to win Champions League while finishing fifth & If pool won Europa then 4th spot wouldn't qualify

Rang advisor there - its the greening...

Apparently you divide the entitlement value by 0.7 to get the actual value you will be paid (which includes greening) which is a bt less than 30%

    Sorted...

Another question, if Liverpool win the Europa league, they will automatically go into the champions league, so if they were in an qualifying place in the premier league table for the Europa league does the team below them get the place in the Europa league ?

Seeing as its a major paperwork task for farmers, you'd think there'd be a little window to flash up something like... 'bps application completed successfully' just for peace of mind.

All of Agfood could do with an overhaul to be honest. Not v intuitive or user friendly IMO.

I was filling up some forms for the department last week. Over 12 pages of eye hurting stuff. They sent me out a bad photocopied form to fill up. I went looking for the same form on-line and there was a complete revised up version available in *.pdf format. Talk about inefficient.

If you want to see a really bad website go on www.GAA.ie to find out the time for a match.:(
