    There's a thread on here about farmers being treated with contempt by others; yet its fine for farmers to consider those that don't work in farming as "Townies" and trespassing idiots that take vodafone ads literally. The condescension is astounding.

    Does that reduce the smell...seems to be the case around here any way...i hate the smell of slurry

    Can still smell it but that could have been the agitation. It's certainly not as bad as other years though so yes, it seems to reduce it.

    That ad seemed like a bit of a piss take to me anyway. Anyone that would think its ok to do the same thing has bigger problems than a bull to be worrying about.

    So It was.

    It reduces the smell all right, and as a bonus, the sheep can graze between the lines...

    Think so. You can't claim what you have already paid. Latest payment came out of my account this morning

    A TOWNIE!!:eek::eek:

    I wish! I'd spend my days having picnics in fields that aren't mine, teasing bulls that aren't cross all with the funds from my handy public service job!

    Quick question, how much does the black plastic used to cover the silage pit cost?

    Well that's my enterprise idea gone, was thinking of a silage cover that could be rolled up, like the cover that you'd pull over a pool.

    I call for the first half, then someone else does the second and I can do half the book. If my Mum or I wins the book is called back in front of someone else so they can see the numbers match up.

    No scams here Ted!

    Was fencing with the jeep yesterday, got stuck in a soft spot. The 200kg of meal in the back didn't help either:o Long walk to get the tractor and chain.

    Would anybody know where I would come across rubber mats that I saw in a cattle factory. They were where the cattle came off the lorries and had big high ridges. Looked for all the world like a flattened tractor tyre. Have a slippy corner coming into the collection yard thought they would be a good job for it

    Turns out we're not the only ones getting the strange weather! Friend said he's never seen the OSR flowering and it snowing in his 50 years. Makes for a lovely photo though...
