    My temptation to delete my team altogether is rising. On paper, I had an excellent team when I wildcarded. Watching price rises all season meant I could fit just about every big player I wanted in to my team. These last two weeks have crushed any fun I get out of this, and it makes very little sense. Even yesterday with my rival making one transfer of Gomes.

    Like how did it go so, so wrong?

    This forum has gotten incredibly negative, we all love a moan now and again but the game is unpredictable, that's actually why you love it.
    It has a huge effect on my weekend moods but talk about deleting accounts and zombieing your team are surely out of place on this forum.

    I can take a measure of unpredictability. I can take taking a risk that fails. I can't take having my team ripped apart with very little chance of fielding 9 players next week, let alone 11. After lots of planning, to see it fail so spectacularly is next-level demoralising.

    I've captained Aguero practically every week he's been fit and the returns have been largely disappointing. That didn't matter though because I had a plan. I would wait until a double game week and then unleash triple captaincy Aguero. Only last week my entire plan unravelled. I was rash, I wasted my triple captaincy on Lukaku, a fatal mistake only compounded by my decision to captain Martial yesterday at the last minute ahead of Aguero. I now sit here in a flood of tears, thinking about what could have been. Victory was in my grasp but I fluffed my lines.

    It's just stupid this year though. It has well crossed the point of unpredictable. There's a reason so many consistently good players are doing so poorly, and no amount of rubbish about those people not adapting quickly enough etc will cover for it.

    I'm using my first chip this week but regardless of whether it's a success or not the introduction of the chips has been as ridiculous as it seemed when they announced it last summer. Assists are being given/not given without any semblance of consistency which is having much too much of an impact almost every week. Any bit of valuable time spent planning goes out the window 9 times out of 10.
