Only 49k miles if that checked out it would be a steal.

If the A8 doesn't float your boat..€500 cheaper, good bit of tax and test with low miles

2 owners is right. Nice if that indeed comes with all the original papers / a full service history showing the "celebrity" first owner. Looks new too. NCT short but €800 worth of tax. Personally I'd take it over the A8. Lovely.

He seems pretty confident about the car. Could probably negotiate a fresh test into the deal

He does seem confident, but his market is very limited. Surely he is aware of that. I'd be confident too driving up to him in a week or so with €4k in cash. Confident that I'd drive the Jag home :D

Are you going to test that theory? ;)

I think your even more confident expecting it for that I couldn't see him budging that much, nice motor but not my style I'd drive that A8 though, I'm trying to pick up a fresh LS for the next mission but good ones are scarce.

That's an awful colour in the metal though. Far more yellow to it than the pictures show. If you can live with that, drive on. Personally I'd prefer Jaguar Green or dark blue if I had the choice.

Agreed I think it would suit a darker colour much better.

Its a tough call for me whether or not I'd take it over the A8. Those Jags have a lot of class, but the A8 is very fresh looking.

    I dunno

I think for a gentle stroll around the country and pure lazy driving id go for the jag and I'd enjoy every second of it.
But if I wanted to drive like a loon and smile everytime the beasty v8 unleashes then it would be the Audi.
I think id go for the Audi in the end.

That crease could have been caused by a number of things. A look at the bolster, armrest and pedals would better indicate whether or not the miles are genuine as these are the parts that wear from mileage

Very true I may have been a tad rash in my quick judgement but still the mileage for the year is well below average - not saying not correct (obviously). :)

Over budget but has to be mentioned, this is a very genuine car owned by an enthusiast so it's very well maintained plus this guy done the write up on the Lexus forum that I posted about a few months ago. It's much cheaper than some other examples and well worth the money..

Been watching this for a while 'cause it's fairly local to me.

Tis dropping in price slowly, but will need to be a lot closer to the €5k mark before I'd be able to stomach the road tax!

I don't know how I feel about a barge with a diesel engine..but in any case; tax and test, 4.0 TDI, €4k. Looks very fresh inside, very very low miles though for a big diesel. Don't know about the wheels

I know what you mean, I'd accept the diesel if it was seriously powerful and in the above case it is pretty powerful.
270bhp and 650nm of torque and V8 to top it all off. Good for 155mph and approx 30mpg.
I'm pretty sure that tax is out of date though, seems like it's 06/14??
Mileage wise it's very very low, infact stupidly low for a 4.0 tdi as it's an average of 6.7k per year.
I'd be bringing it to Audi to have the mileage verified via the ECU.

At this price range what difference would a haircut on the mileage make. If the condition is good, has some history to it up to a decent point and it said 188k miles it's still got to be worth 3 grand. If ncts etc. Can't be supplied with it it's fair to assume it's had a bit of a trim.

Just checked, NCT is not due until June 5th, 2017

Normally an E65 for this kinda money has no test...

Fair enough it has passed the nct but these things could hide expensive issues that might not effect nct.
Having said that, it has no market here so worth little in good condition anyway.

Sure or it could develop an expensive issue the day after you buy it. But at this money we're almost talking disposable car / bangernomics. Buy it, drive it, it will probably be fine for years. And if not and it develops an expensive problem, just scrap it / dump it on donedeal for a few hundred and buy another one.

If it has a full, comprehensive service history, it'd be worth a punt. You'd hope any issues have been ironed out by now.

That's got to be worth a lot more on the continent hasn't it? Buy it and sell it for a profit plus the VRT rebate? There's a growing market for cars like that in Eastern Europe.

€4-5500 in Germany with a long TUV.

Take off the VRT rebate which is a grand. https://www.ros.ie/evrt-enquiry/vrtenquiry.html?execution=e1s3

Add in petrol, tolls, ferry, hotels, flights back. €800. (Not including a couple of days off work here.)

It will have cost you €2400 to land it in Poland, then get it converted and pay a commission to someone to sell it. Hard to break even really.
